La Cantine de L'Iboat

We saw my favourite band (Trust) here in June - it was a brilliant experience - great venue, good sound and lighting, we didn't eat but the food looked delicious. Easy to reach by tram to Basins a flots

I never tried the restaurant, but I have been more than once to the club and I was always blown away by the line up and the quality of the sound system. I recommend it without hesitation to any tech house / deep house lover.

I said to them I was Vegetarian and they have me a meat burger. Worst day of my life, luckily they offered me another real vegan burger, and with a free drink and they did apologized a lot.So, the vegan burger itself is really amazing.

Had a business diner with a party of 20 colleagues last night,the location is pretty fun,good decor, very average food and also weird - tuna rossini??? Bad wine-spanish wine was on the table in Bordeaux...- good service in restaurant but too long and way overpriced. Bar upstairs had terrible music,very young crowd,bad manners at the bar,dirty toilets and cheap quality booze.

We have visited Bordeaux in many occasions, and as much as we adore the lovely brassieres around the city, IBOAT offered something special to savour, with its uncommon setting in a lovely dock, it has an unusual 'galley' of classical French dishes with a touch of Asian cuisine, specifically the 'tataki du thon' a thing of light beauty wiz a French touch of course, we were fantastically received the waiters were knowledgable and ´efficace'Highly recommendable

Came here with a group of friends and wasn't quite sure what to expect from the restaurant. But it didn't disappoint, the staff were really helpful in helping us choose what to eat, even giving us some of the cheese which is in the burger to taste to make sure we like it. The burgers were so so good, my friend and I had half each of two of the burgers, and both were amazing! The burger with the black bun was definitely interesting and something very different but lovely too!

I have been to the three or five times and the club once or twice. The restaurant is ok- nice venue and the food is fine. However, the staff at the club are totally obnoxious. Yes the venue is awesome with great line ups but the people working there think that they are running the core club in New York (which I have actually been in to). Let's get things straight- It is a cool boat in a small french town. The staff are so pleased with they're tiny amount of power that to is embarrassing. Unhelpful, rude and pretentious.

If you're looking for a place to hang out during your stay in Bordeaux, I strongly advise you to head to i.Boat.The restaurant isn't the best catering option in town (and a bit pricey for what it is), but the i.Boat concept is worth a visit.Well, first of all it's a boat, which makes the venue quite original. Its line-up includes art happening, exhibitions, "flea" market on a regular basis, as well as the best parties downtown when the sun goes down : international & underground DJs, indie bands, etc. take on the stage in the "basement" every week-end. Then, if you feel a bit claustrophobic, head to the upper floors, get nice drinks & cocktails at the bars, catch the breeze or enjoy your cig...
