The setting and service are very pleasant, good map, simple and with good local products. A beautiful place to discover!

Restaurant in a beautiful setting, near the waterfall. We were very welcome. For the meal, take the speciality fresh trout. We had a good time.

The village of La Frasnée is a beautiful place and the terrace, one summer evening, is a real pleasure. Truite meunière, a great classic successful and stirring tin with tender and taste. The boss is nice and available... Anyway, a good time at the Cascade.

Unfortunately, we couldn't eat because we hadn't booked. But after 7km walking for 1h30, we at least thought we could refresh ourselves around a glass but not... Very good reception in this restaurant facing the waterfall, in a soothing and ressuring atmosphere. We tasted the fresh trout with a bite sauce, a real treat. The stunt ice cut allowed us to finish on a sweet little note. Since the beginning of September, for lack of staff, the restaurant opened only on Friday, Saturday and Sunday noon and evening, except Sunday evening. We couldn't book by phone. The best way is to go around 11am to book for the noon, which leaves the time to climb up the waterfall and make a walk in the beautiful village of the Frasnée.

In the village of La Frasnee in the Jura, one can recover very well within the cascade. This restaurant is located under the remote surrounding the village. Easy parking. Faced with the waterfall and the ruins of the mill, you can eat in the room or on a sun-protected terrace and other weather conditions. In the courtyard you can admire the beautiful trouts that you can choose at the meal. Large map with many specialties included: fine trouts, bit trouts, chicken needles with Jura wine, roquefort, and bits. The dishes are from 16 to 20€. The wine list is reduced but of quality. Dessert with pancakes or cheeses not to mention the rum baba with profusion liqueur. We eat well, it’s hot and hear...

A magical place by its situation. The Frasnée, a very special atmosphere of serenity and the beauty of this nature makes us for a moment suspended, feeling out of the world and its turbulence. The restaurant La Cascade? All right. Welcome to the boss and staff, a young and very smiling team. No race that stresses us customers but everything is done in a relaxed atmosphere and the plates are on our table just when it takes. No waiting, not too fast either; Perfect! What's on the plates? All right! It is a small establishment that doesn't want to play big with decor effects and few things in the plate! No, it's simple but good.
