Here on the way to the ferry in Santander. Delicious oyster mushrooms to start large portions. Liver onions with chips was delicious. Roast ham with chips delicious again. Enjoy your meal. €23 bargain.

Stopped for lunch on a bike tour of Picos and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of food and service in la Cortina. The grilled mushrooms, tomato salad and asparagus were all fantastic. Great service too

Si amas la comida sencilla y los lugares amables, si te gusta sentir la naturaleza abrazándote y disfrutar de los placeres pequeños, este es uno de los últimos paraísos perdidos. No importa lo que comas, sólo es necesario venir acompañado por personas a las que quieras y, a poder ser, fuera de temporada. En su puerta te podrás acercar al Deva, el río nacido en Fuente Dé, y observar su agua cristalina discurrir ajena al mundo moderno.

We were 4 motorcyclists and wanted to find somewhere just outside Panes for a rest stop. This restaurant is just outside Panes over the bridge and you can park outside. The menu is extensive with fresh line caught fish available when they've been fortunate and...caught their own fish. Top Tip: the location map shows Bar La Cortina up the hill in amongst some houses. It is literally inline with the blue bridge and 20m from the main road. You know your there because of the Cider barrels outside.
