Nice service accompanied good food. The only issue is the food amount, it is too much for ordinary person to consume starter and main course, so I recommend to share. Bon Apetit

We got stuck looking for dinner venue and saw this place, great beef and great pizza and really good service. Our French is poor and owner helped us out with menu. Recommended wine was just great.

This was our favorite restaurant in Nice. Simple, straightforward food - so lovingly prepared and served it became our favorite restaurant in Nice. Casual, personal and affordable. And best of all, every meal and every item was delicious.

Big salads, nice (big) pizzas, ok grilled (big) steaks but served without much sauce, butter or veggies. One of the steaks was not cooked as ordered, but definately not a dealbreaker... Local people and families. Good ambiance. (Aperol is Campari and orangeslice lemon, so get your Spritz-fix somewhere else ;-)

Have eaten dinner at La Foccacia on numerous occasions after the Theatre in Nice - a very short walk from the Theatre National de Nice. Despite the somewhat shiny metallic decor, the restaurant is a great find. The portions are tasty and copious and the prices are very reasonable. They have standard pasta dishes, enormous pizzas full of fresh ingredients and, for the more adventurous, revisited dishes like the Salad Nicois revisited. The staff are extremely helpful and very friendly.

We found this place as we had just been to the art museum and what a find! My partner finally got dauphinoise potatoes with his steak after days of searching and I got steak tartare. Both meals were so tasty, well cooked and perfect for lunch, the frites I got with my meal were homemade potato chips that were amazing. The carafe of wine was cheap and very nice and light that accompanied the meal well. To finish there is a large selection of tasty desserts and the strawberry Tiramisu deserves a mention, especially if you don't normally like Tiramisu. The price is not cheap but so close to old town and with no tourist in sight this is a place to visit

We ended up here one night based on comments on Tripadvisor. We got a table when we arrived. The waiter was gently and service minded. We ordered a bottle of local wine. He was quick to serv us.We ordered seafood spaghetti and the lobster. We were first very satisfied since the portions were big. But when we started to eat we realized that there were not that much food. I finished the lobster quick and had a lot of pasta left on my plate. My partner had the same. The food could easily been spiced up a lot more. It was kind of tasteless. The environment was good. I think that most people would have a great time here, especially as tourist. But sorry, the food has a way to go!

This is a great restaurant, one of the best I've been to in my life. It looks unassuming/non-flashy from the outside but don't let that put you off as the food is fantastic quality. We came back twice during our visit as other restaurants we tried in more touristy areas were not as good and more expensive. I had pizza on the first night and duck on the second and both were delicious. I came with my dad who had a salad the first night and then fish and he was very impressed as well. The wine is also extremely good and excellent value for money. The waiters are attentive and incredibly helpful and friendly. I'm pretty fussy with food but this was amazing quality, good value, and I highly recom...

We visited this restaurant for my birthday having found it on Trip Advisor. I am so glad that we did! From arranging the booking via email to being looked after on the night the service was excellent. The food is delicious, a mixture of French and Italian. I had the calzone and it was yummy, with very fresh ingredients and very generous portions. For dessert I had the ile flottante which is my personal favourite and didn't disappoint. My husband had the burger and the home made chips which we both enjoyed. Special thank you to Audrey who looked after us and even added a big sparkler to my dessert and brought us prosecco to celebrate. Such a nice surprise to find a restaurant with such person...
