Go the eyes closed to taste a homemade cuisine with quality ingredients; the dishes are traditional but presented in a more modern way, which makes all the appeal of the restaurant. The staff is very kind, the children will also find their suitable dishes. It’s been more than thirty years since I’m going to val d’Isère and for me it’s the best address, considering the quality of the dishes and the price."

"We took a break at lunchtime after getting off the bike park, my partner being allergic to celery, we had to ask the boss to make a Niçoise salad again and when I added the bill I discovered that the Mr charged us for the two salads. I find this anything but professional. The tourist is a real cash cow and I find that a shame."

"in the centre of the station. no interest, not very warm, and especially very large, so often a little noisy.Home and super nice service.In a mountain resort, many restaurants are limited to melted/raclette/tartiflette and charcuterie variations. The choice here is much wider, less heavy, and more refined without being excessively expensive: well-presented dishes, tasteful, and generous portions."

"Maison Chevallot was our “go to” place for a quick delicious snack at Val-d’Isère! They are rated as “meilleur ouvrier de France” which is an endorsement of exceptional quality here in France. We loved their blueberry tarts but even their sandwiches made a great lunch snack. Don’t miss their signature hot chocolate made with locally sourced milk which is just something else, and their Beaufort cheese and ham pie which is divine. They also have a huge range of items you can take home Naturally quality creates footfall so try to time your visit not to match peak times which are of course, lunch time and just after the pistes close. Other than those times, we never waited more than 5 minutes."
