Nice place, very characteristic. Food ok, but I had higher expectations, Ravioli not really recommended. A bit expensive for what you eat.

good food, average prices, nice location. the boy in the room good and attentive but disrespectful behavior from another collaborator who ran between the room and the kitchen blasphemously for a supposed trip to amsterdam.

A good standby, with a traditional menu and some interesting twists--e.g. little ravioli filled with zucchini flowers. Rather larger-than-usual portions, e.g., primo piatto of pasta e fagioli was huge. House wine OK. (It was too hot for meats for a second course. Looks like they do it well.

very pleasant and reserved location, inside a room with a beautiful brick vault and walls with exposed stones, in the center of the historical center. order a taste of cheese and calves, all large but in small portions and with prices slightly higher than average. very pleasant and courteous service recommended Speisekarte ansehen

Studied in Urbino 7 years ago as a study abroad student. I remembered this restaurant as being one of my favorite meals. Came back recently and everything was as excellent as I remembered. They have plates and wine typical of the region and they are right in the center. We had strozzapreti in cartoccio with porcini mushrooms and truffles. For secondo we ate steak with gorgonzola cream sauce and stuffed rabbit.

La Fornarina offers a variety of regional dishes on their menu. The food is freshly made and pretty good. You can't go wrong with ordering any of the strozzapretti, a regional pasta, dishes here. I really enjoy their Strozzapreti Al Cartoccio or their ravioli di zucca. The restaurant itself has a nice atmosphere and is located near the Piazza Republica. The staff were friendly anytime I visited. Their prices can be a tiny bit higher than other restaurants in town, but are not excessively so.

A wonderful and friendly welcome. The lady of the house was a lovely lady who didn’t think it was a problem to prepare a dish that was not on the menu. Our son was craving a pasta with a simple pomodoro sauce and she immediately said ‘no problem’!!! Daughter had the truffle which was abundantly scattered over her plate (yay! . Best truffle pasta since we arrived! Pricing was low. The pasta’s fresh. Would come back here!
