"Chanced upon La Jauria as my twin brother Stephen and I were wandering around this part of town and what a great find. Walking in and I knew I would enjoy my visit here,a spic and span interior, a cute looking serving bar, exposed brickwork, great photos of the rat pack adorning the walls and there's plenty of seating options spread throughout this bar, it's just a great place to unwind in. We were here on a Friday early evening, greeted warmly by a very pleasant member of staff who served us a vermut each,these were served in excellent condition, we just chilled out and took in the great bar we were in while enjoying our vermut's. My vermut was exceptional, for anyone not familiar with vermut its a fortified wine infused with brandy and herbs, served with a green olive, a slice of orange and a big hunk of ice, it's such a refreshing drink, it's the drink I most associate with Madrid. We both really enjoyed our vermut's in here and although our visit was only fleeting for a first time visit we were totally impressed with this bar. La Jauria is easy to locate along Calle De Colon in an area teeming with pubs,bars and restaurants. Opening hours are; Monday to Thursday, 9am till 2am. Friday,9am till 2.30am. Saturday Sunday, 10am till 2.30am. A great bar,well worth seeking out if your in the area."

Great brown bar with an unexpected great restaurant. The whole menu is gluten free, the atmosphere is great with real old music bringing you back to the 50's and 60's or even the roaring 20's. And the food is delicious. Need-to-go if you are a celiak in Madrid

Mi madre es celíaca y busque uno para comer sin gluten. Me encanta para empezar por eso porque el 95% de la carta lo es y tiene mucha variedad de platos para elegir. Mi madre estaba encantada, totalmente libre y segura de que podía comer disfrutando. Y las dos lo hicimos porque pedimos tres platos para compartir y todo estaba muy rico. Buen producto, muy sabroso, buena elaboración y muy buena presentación. El local no es muy grande, tiene pocas mesas y es mejor reservar. El ambiente muy bueno. El personal atento. Reservamos para las 2:30pm y no nos sirvieron el primer plato hasta una hora más tarde. Nos pidieron dos veces disculpas por este motivo, lo que agradecimos porque no siempre recibe...
