I had a good gift in August 2020 for a weekend in this establishment but impossible to book because it is closed. This establishment has offered me the refund, but I've always waited... since the beginning of September! What a lack of seriousness and respect! Speisekarte ansehen

There is Michael Jordan for Basketball and then there's Marc Veyrat for "cuisine" Probably the best chef in the world...don't bother about guides and ranking just try La Maison des Bois and then make your own opinion. On top of that Marc Veyrat is a wonderful host and he is actually in his kitchen unlike many overmarketed stars in this category. One last advice go for the full 11-12 course menu...anything less would be very frustrating!

What a great experience! we saw the construction of the house and was a privilege to discover its result. Don't worry. It is a magical place and out of time that does not compete with others. We're at marc veyrat. That's it. we no longer know where to throw eyes, so every detail is beautifully thought out. everything is supposed and the presence of the leader on the side of his hosts is a privilege of re-election. a great bavo also to the whole team for the dedication and excellence it demonstrates.

on Saturday, the 17th March, to lunch after la maison des bois, it is very snowy. Welcome to our arrival, drinks beside the kamin, wine card and menu explains us. a wonderful culinary experience awaited us, and we had luck that marc veyrat, the owner and the chef were there. we could talk to him, ask him a funny outgoing person, with a look at all the small details as the dishes were served. We started with a very nice light lunch outside at the restaurants terrace about 6 hours before dinner, followed by the best massage ever in the spa, a couple of hours relaxing in our charming comfortable suite, before entering the restaurant for the large menu "La Grande Fête Dans les Étoiles" for dinner. It was truly a magical culinary tasty journey from the first gourmet pre-dinner infront of the fireplace to the very last dish served. Wow! We checked in on a beautiful sunny afternoon in Marc Veyrat's domain and were directly welcomed by... himself! I have to admit that I consider Chefs as rockstars so this encounter was very surprising and pleasant. Indeed, the Chef is more than approachable and he loves to talk about food and nature. He is truly an amazing personality and likes to spend time with his guests. We stayed one night in one of his chalets, which was also a very nice experience. My wife and I visited La Maison des Bois for lunch during a skiing trip to La Clusaz, our expectations were very high but the experience exceeded our expectations!We had the 10 course lunch menu which come at EUR 295 pp with wine pairings, Yes its quite steep but in our opinion worth every EUR (and you can probably skip dinner like we did after this 4½ hour fabulous lunch!)
