"Venus pour fêter un anniversaire, nous avons été accueillis à la perfection dans ce palace parisien. La Bauhinia est une grande salle magnifique sous une grande coupole, très agréable au coucher du soleil. La cuisine est tout simplement délicieuse, le foie gras de canard, superbement présenté, est un régal. Nous avons testé le tigre qui pleure, grand classique de la cuisine thaïlandaise, certes très très pimenté mais excellent (la cuisson était un peu trop bleu à mon goût et la sauce vinaigrée pimentée devrait être servie dans récipient dans lequel on peut faire mariner son boeuf). Servi avec un riz gluant original, léger et nuageux, surement cuit au lait. En dessert, le chef nous a préparé un gâteau surprise d'anniversaire au chocolat, un régal. Seul bémol, la ou les cartes des vins, il en existe 2 ou 3, la petite classique, celle des pauvres et l'annuaire. Nous avons eu la petite et l'annuaire mais malheureusement rien de réellement abordable, le moindre petit rouge est à 50€, addition salée en conséquence, 270€ à 2."

"We went there on Saturday night. Very good reception, very nice. Hot! We felt a little tight on the bench and immediately offered another table better located. Mixed knife in input for 2, very good, products of different qualities and well provided!!! Faux-filets dish I recommend, very good cuisine, quality meat! Wide choice on the wine menu at very reasonable prices! I recommend the Pic Saint Loup! Anyway everything was really good!!! Excellent value for money!!! We'll be back for the burgundy beef!"

"I was in this very welcoming little restaurant with my partner. the first time we were looking for Italian cuisine and although we were untrustworthy we wanted to try, making a wonderful discovery. we ate on fish, an excellent and abundant entrance of mussels, clams and scallops and two entries, just as abundant, based on fish, house wine, water, coffee, all for only 57 € as for paris prices. No excessive. We came back because we were very satisfied, this time we wanted to try meat and cheese and local entries. plus 2 carafes of red wine, water and 2 desserts less than 40€ per person, good for betting. ps: a good coffee short as usual in italia."

"We went to this restaurant for a dinner and had reserved table before throuhg tripadvisor webpage. At the reservation was that we get 30% discount from the menu items. When we arrvived to the restaurant it was almoust empty and they recognice our reservation right away. We got menus and asked about the discount and then sit started. The waiter (woman) explained us that the discount doesn't concern menus and plates and so on... It is only valid when you order from ala carte and you HAVE to eat also a main course which were very expencive ! I tried to explain to the waiter that when we reserved the table nowhere was rule that you have to take main course and it dosn't consern the ready sushi menus ? Then the waiter shout to us again and again that so it is and it is not her reason why it is not said at the web page. She was so rude that I have never ever faced situation like that. We stand up and went out of the restaurant. We don't know about the food at restaurant but we never have to figure it out becouse we won't go to this restaurant ever."

"We were a group of 6 young girls who can barely speak French, and we had a lovely evening out. The waiting staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, and spoke excellent English - and didn't laugh too much when we pronounced things wrong! Being students we didn't want to splash out on drinks and the waiting staff brought us new complimentary bottles of water every ten minutes or so, plus complimentary baskets of bread. Considering the location, the food was reasonably priced and very very good, plus there was a good range of vegetarian options. I would definitely recommend this to everyone who happens to find themselves in the 17th District."
