La Porchetta - Speisekarte

I decided to try this restaurant after seeing its good reviews, and I stopped in for a quick lunch. The salad was fantastic and the Christmas decorations added a festive touch to the atmosphere.

The biggest pizza I have ever seen for one person!! Brilliant if this is how it is done in Italty I will consider emigrating!!La Porchetta has its priorites right good food, good service perfecto!

We had a colleagues leaving do here. I must say that we had an extremely pleasant evening. Both the manager and the staff were attentive and I possibly had the nicest pasta dish yet! I would definitely recommend this little place. Speisekarte ansehen

have been here quite a few times and actually held a family party at the boswell street one. They were great with their service ensuring there was always drinks on the table, food was flowing consistenly and even joined in singing happy birthday. On other occasions it is ideal for a quiet dinner with friends. I will continue to keep going back!Great food, great service all round great evening.

Food aside, the main thing is so Italian fresh pasta all the sauces and a wide selection of pizzas. Pizzas are absolutely huge and very well stocked, for less than 10 parts. Small negative key for wine card Roses too light (only 2 choices) as often elsewhere in the English restaurant. If you really have the slab and you find yourself on Angel with an Italian feel, La Porchetta is a very good value for money!

Colleagues and I stumbled upon La Porchetta a week ago when our usual spot was full. Like most working Londoners if we get the opportunity to dine-out at lunch it is important for us to ensure the food and service is quick enough to fit into our break!La porchetta serves great fresh food from their open kicthen, the staff are firendly and not time-wasters! I guess I am a bit unfair about la porchetta, but it has such a beautiful building from the outside that i expected the food and interior to be equally as good. Set up in an old converted bank, it is an impressive building with a decent menu offering ranged of italian dishes. On walking inside, I was a little disappointed its not bad but looked a little less impressive than i had hoped, with simple tables and chairs and not much style I went for the mozzarella balls followed by pizza. Hi all, For having lived at Boswell court a couple of years in my university days, i can tell you La Porchetta, the smallest of places hidden in the backstreets of Holborn, will not disappoint. This one of three La porchetta restaurants in London is the least famous of all. Not sure it deserves such a non-reputation. More than once La porchetta has saved my night with solid take away pizza. Typically the difference in London pizza is the base. La porchetta seems to have got it right. I've been going to the Holborn La Porchetta for over a year now, probably been or times, roughly, and I just keep finding more and more great food on the menu. For a long time I had the mushroom risotto, which is excellent. There are two recipes, one is tomatoey, and the older recipe, which they will do if you ask, if more based on red wine, and I prefer this one. More recently I've discovered two tagliatelle dishes one with salmon and cream, which is excellent, and another tagliatelle boscaiola, with fresh porcini mushrooms, minced pork, and cream is simply stunning, one of the best Italian dishes I've ever had.
