This is one of the best restaurants in Bordeaux, yet it's not that well known except to the locals who live in the area, who go there often. Virginie Mustel's menu is limited to just a few items and changes according to what is in...season, and she is very attentive to the quality of her ingredients. My friends still rave about her chestnut velouté studded with morsels of foie gras, and I've also had wonderful Thaiinspired salads there. what a fantastic place! When we came in, there were only locals, and they looked at us strangely, as if we lost Americans.
