We stopped coming down from the castle for a drink and snack! We ate a crêpe and a waffle at Nutella, both were delicious! Light and really well topped

In one of the most beautiful villages in France, at the entrance door of the castle of Beynac, the tavern of the ramparts is worth a visit to it alone for restoration. Congratulations to the cooks, thanks to the waiters.

Long drive to find Beynac, and then a parking space! Short hike up the hill to find pleasant spot for lunch. We chose the omelette campagnarde with salad and frites. Pretty decent service considering how busy it was. Tasty and nicely presented. Good value. Friendly service.

Sat outside on a lovely late September lunchtime. beautiful views of the castle. Omelettes were tasty and well presented but service was rather abrupt. Be careful that you get the drinks you order...we asked for draught Kronenburg but were served a more expensive draught. When challenged the waiter became very indignant.....however in the end we were only charged for what we'd ordered. Speisekarte ansehen
