"I stopped here for lunch after a morning of sightseeing. It's tucked away on a tiny cobblestoned street right between the cathedral and the Toulouse-Lautrec museum and has only 3 tiny tables out front (although the dining room inside is much better). I asked for a table outside since the weather was beautiful and I wanted to enjoy the ambience of eating in a medieval village. For only 18 euros I got a fantastic starter salad and the "confit du Canard - grand mere". The duck was cooked just how I like it (crispy) and the "mashed potatoes" were absolutely fantastic. Coupled with a half bottle of local Galliac white wine recommended by the server, this was a perfect interlude to a perfect day. I highly recommend the food here."

Chosen because it was the nearest but it turned out to be a little jewel. A most enjoyable lunch at a very reasonable price. Friendly staff and recommended.

Lovely little restaurant in the Lee of the cathedral. Absolutely perfect duck with mustard, and tuna fillet. Great local wines. Good service, and reasonably priced.

The restaurant is convenient to the cathedral, the Toulouse Lautrec Museum, and the gardens. Food is good, well-presented, and the interior offers unique views into the inner alleys around the archbishop's palace. Speisekarte ansehen

Super restaurant at the side of the Toulouse Lautrec museum. We ate here in November and found it the set menu of 18€ to be excellent both in choice and presentation. Excellent waitress, nothing to complain about.

Waiter was welcoming and accommodating. Midday menu @ 18 euro was really good. The place was so quiet I was surprised... For the price and location I found this place excellent. Sit down the back by the pond and outdoor deco garden!

Situated in between the Cathedral and Palais Berbie. Very nice interior. We were the only two people in the restaurant the night we visited. The food was ok but not great. I did have the house special dessert as it was dairy free - mango with pepper, vinegar and crushed meringue. Very unusual taste which was not unpleasant. Speisekarte ansehen

In the middle of summer in South West France, finding a niece place in the shadow of the Cathedal is a real pleasure.Add to this the delightfull perfection of linen on the table: you are tempted to sit. It is what we have done;we could then discover a beautiful way of cookink traditionnal, fresh and generous. One of my personnal pleasure is the way the fish is cooked! and for me it was perfect!;A niece and clean place in the middle of this extraodinary historical place represented by the Cathedral Ste CECILE and the Toulouse Lautrec Museum.Just taste this moment! you will see you will come back!!

This restaurant is just outside the Toulouse Lautrec museum so we thought there was no point in venturing any further as it looked ok. It certainly was ok and we were very pleased we had stopped there! The tables were set outside as it was a warm and pleasant day. It was maybe a little disconcerting as it was all on a slight slope, but not enough to stop our glasses sliding across the table. We had some cucumber gazpacho - green so a bit unusual, and definitely not for anyone - like my husband - who doesn't like cucumber, but two of us had it and found it unusual and very tasty. We had duck to follow, which was very good.

"Our second night in Albi and two restaurants we wanted to visit in the evening were closed. We decided to venture to a small local Vietnamese restaurant that received only 11 reviews but all very good and from French visitors. We arrived early and we're the only customers but received a friendly greeting in French with little English but a willingness to work with our very limited language skill. We decided on the fixed price menu at 17Euros a person. My husband had the shrimp salad, the beef with onions and peppers with rice all very fresh tasting and the salad had wonderful and crunchy ingredients in a lightly creamed dressing. I chose the beef and nem...a lovely dish with ginger spiced noodle, small slices of perfectly tender beef and two small fried rolls stuffed with finely shredded veggies and meat. My main dish was the shrimp (crevettes) Thailandaise a most delicious combination of crisp onion, cabbage, and a fantastic spiced cream sauce. I was told it was spicy but without the final dash of hot sauce it had just the right amount of zip. Both of us had the banana flambé to finish. This was just the right amount of food...not so much food that it could be shared. The cost including a lovely bottle of Gaillac Rouge was about 47 Euros. We feel this was a wonderful and very pleasant dinner and well worth the price. Thanks again to Evean our waitress and her parents the chefs!"
