We took a pizza to take the rustic away: fine paste, really delicious and a top welcome. We renewed the experience the next day on the terrace with our dog. The pizza says the terrace and the cream burned down. We had a very good one and we'll go back if the opportunity comes. the terrace should really be called les terraces. it is divided into two, a brasserie and a somewhat more formal restaurant. the kitchen sits between the two and serves more demanding (and more expensive) dishes in the latter. with a couple of children who were for entrecôte-frites eagerten., we decided for the brasserie and were not disappointed. a goat's cheese salad was laborious and well made, the steaks were tender and perfectly cooked, and the wine list had a short but interesting selection of bottles from the other field than the charente. service was friendly and efficient. the decor is smart modern when a wastey cold (many flowing); the exception is the leathery foyer, where a warm...
