"Okay, we had been skiing all day, we're tired and hungry. We were in the bar next door that serves surprisingly good tapas La Bodeguita. We thought we could pop next door and get the same quality food and service. This was incorrect. Menu items were pricey for what they were. We ate burgers, pizza, croquettes and Soup. There was nothing to write home about but it was not terrible. Croquettes were 19€, and were fist sized. Six of them arrived, they were listed as a starter but we couldn't finish them between the whole table. Pizza crust was premade. Burgers were too raw for some. Onion soup was okay but came with untoasted bread, and pre grated packet cheese on top which just turned into a soggy mess of wet bread and clumps of tasteless half melted cheese. We had to ask for menus in Spanish, they just assumed we were British. Bread arrived via waiter. He accidentally threw a bun across the room, which was actually quite funny. When the food arrived, the large plates from bread were still on the table, so we had to awkwardly pick them up ourselves to allow the servers to place the plates on the table, when the drinks came, they were handed out to people instead of placed or poured. All very strange, not really as nice as it looks to be from the outside. Bill was requested 3 times, we waited about 15 mins for it, when it arrived, we were asked if we needed a card machine yes please. We waited another 10 minutes for that. We sat by the door, which was a series of two, and instead of being opened one by one to keep the heat in, multiple groups held both doors open. This resulted in blasts of cold air every 5 to 10 minutes and everyone having to hold down napkins etc in case they blew away."
