We orderd Lamb and risotto. The lamb was 90 percent fat. And the risotto was like oatmeal. I do not think the chef has ever even tasted Italian food. We Will not be coming back.

beautiful tiramisu, but the whole other thing we had was quite unexcepted. it is strange that an Italian restaurant pasta does not make as a starter. the service and the setting were both fabulous.

cellar location in a hotel offers a pleasant environment for what promised to be a good experience. give us the first to arrive for the evening opening, we were amazed to be informed that they have no more kartoffels! what we ate was okay, but the prices are not worth it. Speisekarte ansehen

we were happy enough to enjoy a beautiful meal here before the covid19 pandemic completely london turns off. this is a chic restaurant in the most demanding boutique hotel in a very comfortable part of south kensington. the food was delicious! we loved the baratta and the fresh calamari and olive. would recommend this place.

Ordered a chicken Cesar salad. The chicken was undercooked and still had the skin on it, the breadcrumbs were inexistent, sauce was bland and no parmesan. Salad was also cut in very large pieces. We mentioned this, but the 12.5% service charge was still added. Drinks are also very expensive, and staff unwelcoming. Please avoid.

After visiting the science museum for brunch, I enjoyed some delightful appetizers. The staff provided very polite service, and all the dishes arrived promptly. The club sandwich was the best I've ever tasted, and the cheesecake dessert was absolutely beautiful. Overall, the location and service were excellent, and I will definitely want to return to London. We had a pleasant dining experience with great food, a nice atmosphere, and attentive service. The restaurant featured some appealing paintings on the walls. However, we found the prices to be a bit high, especially when we requested water. The waitress brought us a bottled water and it felt like there might have been some implication or judgment if we hadn’t specifically asked for water.

Not good I 'm afraid. Seems to be a tourist trap as so close to museums. Food is bizarrely portioned (some mains were decently sized and some absolutely tiny). Starters looked really unappetising. Fish was served within a huge mass of tin foil which you were expected to eat out of. Not good for vegetarians. We were told that on an already very limited menu, none of the pizzas were available, with no explanation given. A 'selection ' of gelato turned out to be three scoops of vanilla ice-cream. The staff were friendly. One good thing was that one of our group (who was vegetarian and wasn 't in the mood for risotto) asked for a penne all 'Arrabbiata which the chef was able to do. Hidden below street level, this restaurant is as one keen reviewer eloquently put it 'a tourist trap ' for nearby visitors to the museums of South Kensington. In essence it hosts an expensive menu with average tasting food. I 'm sure they 're only surviving because of a guaranteed minimum level of customers who 'll unwittingly stroll in without heeding the warnings of these reviews. In the restaurant 's defence, the decor is homely and the service from staff is very attentive indeed I was asked by two separate staff during my meal whether everything was okay which felt a bit parental but mostly non threatening all the same.
