We came for breakfast on a Sunday food was good but the building very cold inside, needs to look at putting in some heating

Fantastic food and staff and owners beer cold and facilities super clean we are regulars there and feel very welcome would highly recommend

Came for Saturday evening meal. Wasn’t disappointed at all. Lovely ribs. Lovely setting too! Seems a little known place which is a shame as has great potential and must be lovely on a summer’s evening!

Had breakfast here. Even though a grey damp day we still sat outside on their veranda. The food was excellent. Full English, plates were warm, food was piping hot delicious. Beautiful setting despite the weather. Relaxed atmosphere but most of all the service was first class, friendly professional. Thank you Molly.

Came for a walk and then stopped here for lunch. Was lovely sunny day so sitting outside was no problem. Food was delicious and good size portion. Nicely presented too. Great service. Definitely plan to come back ! Inside looked good too currently not allowed to sit inside but did use the loo which was really clean.

Staying on the caravan park and went for a spontaneous Sunday lunch. Wonderful traditional beef roast. Everything there and all beautifully cooked and presented can’t recommend enough. Have also used for takeaway service to eat in the Caravan. Lasagne is superb but whole menu is great. Brie wedges make a magic lunch bite.

After driving past many time I decided to investigate and boy I’m glad I did. Went for a full English in a lovely log building looking over the lake. The country was in flood but it still looked amazing and the lady in the cafe was there to serve and so friendly. I would have had a photo of my food but I never put my weapons down long enough to take a photo. Can’t wait to go back in summer. The lake looks beautiful. Thanks for a full belly today

We were not sure if the place was open. It was and we went for an impromptu lunch. We took my Mother in Law who needs a wheelchair and the staff could not have been more helpful. We chose sandwiches and nachos, with coffee. All excellent and served with a smile. A look at the menu, surroundings and location means we will be back, to sample the menu more extensively and maybe some wine this time. Only down side was being attacked by the geese protecting their babies (not really just part of the fun!

Four of us visited Henfold Lakes for a breezy late morning walk last Sunday, intending to stop off for a coffee in the lovely restaurant overlooking one of the lakes. But as soon as we entered and felt the warm atmosphere from the cosy wood burner and then after seeing the menu, we all decided that brunch it was! Three of us had a full English breakfast, with one having eggs on toast. All of the food was delicious, hot and cooked extremely well. In fact we ate so much, another lap around the scenic lakes was called for! Would definitely recommend this lovely restaurant and we will certainty be back.
