A sweet little creperie great for a reasonably priced meal in Spitalfields. Cider based drinks menu a refreshing change. Try to leave space for a crepe after your main course gallette.

The staff were very accommodating of mine and my friend's babies and buggies difficult in a small restaurant but they showed patience and kindness which is exactly what we needed. The food was beautifully prepared in front of us by the chef who chatted with us and it was utterly delicious, all the staff were very friendly. Overall an extremely lovely lunch. I have tried the tasting menu with a drink, the selection of delicious Aubergine-Galette-Maki rolls, followed by an absolutely tasty galette completely all washed with breton zider. my dining room companion shared her salted caramel palette with me to dessert. great value for money, decor is very tasteful and it is close to other bars in a charming part of spitalfields.

The restaurant is small and cosy with very pleasant waiters. We tried the braised beef and the spiced duck breast which both where very good. For dessert we had the Crepe Suzette and the chocolate fondant. The taste was good but the fondant was a tad on the dry side. I would recommend the restaurant for a date or a dinner with a friend. In my opinion it is worth the travel time from the city centre.

L'Ami Malo is the perfect place for great food, good conversations and impeccable service. The food is delicious (my recommends are the Complete Galette and apple and blackberry compote crepe mmmmmm , and cocktails mouthwateringly good, but what really makes it, is the ambience and amazing staff (they always go the extra mile (esp on your birthday when you get a complimentary glass of bubbly . I am also a sucker for ceramics and love their tableware too. IF they could just open a second branch in south London that would be amazing, but il still make the journey up to East London any day to eat at L'ami Malo : Speisekarte ansehen
