We really enjoyed our evening here, the restaurant was lovely and the food was delicious. We also had a nice friendly waitress!

Excellent well presented food with bread, olive oil etc to start and an amouse bouche. The scallops, venison and guinea fowl were delicious. A bit on the expensive side and really for a special occasion possibly.

Fabulous menu great service and delicious food. Keavy and Honey perfect servers: so helpful and polite and unobtrusive. Food was flavoursome and just the right sized portion. The wine pairing was excellent. Really cannot fault.

Superb food, couldn't have asked for better. We had the Guinea Fowl and the Lamb as mains. We had highlighted when we booked that it was our Wedding Anniversary but it wasn't mentioned at all shame but it didn't spoil our meal. The staff were really pleasant and friendly but were a bit scruffy for front of house. Would thoroughly recommend it though

From start to finish, our visit to this venue was fabulous. Staff were very attentive without being over the top whilst the food and wine were exquisite. This is a relatively small venue and therefore quite intimate (in a good way). It does cater for groups of 4 in addition to couples. The food was absolutely faultless and so full of flavour. Whilst the bill came in at £120 (minus service charge) it was very much worth the cost. In fact Whilst walking around Rye the following day we saw pub menus that would have cost similar had we eaten there instead I cannot emphasise how good the food was at this venue. If I ever stay near Rye again I will definately dine here.

Setting is pleasant. Service was attentive. Had the scallops and the rabbit. Scallop dish was very well put together, well balanced and flavourful. Definitely the stand out plate of the evening. The rabbit disappointing. The batter was heavy and no real flavours came through apart from the picked carrot. For mains we had the pork belly and Guinea fowl. Pork hadn’t re heated well with soft crackling and a very tough lower portion which had to be left. Croquette was pleasant and veg well cooked. The sauce was delicious. Guinea fowl was delicious. Well cooked and again a great sauce. Tart tatin was inelegant at best. Apple to think and therefore cooked unevenly. Pasty in the centre was on the r... Speisekarte ansehen
