The restaurant always gives a warm welcome. The food was amazing, I had to take most of it home! The waitstaff and owners were very kind. Thank you all so much xx.

The staff are exceptionally friendly and in my opinion this is the best restaurant in China town. Salt and pepper ribs I think are the best I have ever tasted. Everything else was top drawer. I’ll be back in a few weeks!

Visited Saturday evening 16th September, home match day so it was extremely busy. Nevertheless staff were amazing, so hardworking, attentive courteous. Food and drinks flowed seamlessly . The restaurant is spotless clean, food is very good and staff are amazing. Well worth a visit, we will certainly return. Thank you

Expected good service ,good food good beer . Nice welcome .Yes . After this everything went downhill. Beer was rubbish. Food was average and the service was not what l expected. To top the poor night off we were then changed for gratuities 10%. 100% will not be returning. I have had a better carry out from local chinese .

I have a daughter with celiac disease, so it's always difficult to find a safe place for her to eat. She has dined at this restaurant twice now without experiencing any negative effects. She is very sensitive, so the precautions taken here must be very effective. The food is delicious, the staff is friendly, and the restaurant has a nice atmosphere.

Initial contact when I visited was good,but it was pre 19:00. Restaurant is modern European style along with its (loud) music choice. Free prawn crackers to wer appetite. Ordered House Special Fried Chicken dish. Unfortunately was...greasy. Very greasy. Bottle of Tiger £7.50. Staff possibly disinterested as single dinner. Only other gripe was 10% gratuity automatically added. 1

We were warmly greeted on our arrival and had attentive service throughout our meal. We started with chicken and sweet corn soup and then duck pancakes. We chose to have half a duck between the 3 of us and it came with a more than adequate amount of pancakes. We shared the 3 mains and thoroughly enjoyed them, so thank you all for a lovely evening and we will definitely recommend you, as well as returning

I am unsure how this restaurant is rated as the top restaurant on Stowel Street. The food was terrible. I started with the hot and sour soup, which had a thick, slimy consistency and an artificial taste. The king prawn with asparagus in garlic sauce had no garlic flavor and the sauce seemed watery. The Singapore noodles were unevenly flavored. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience. This restaurant used to be a favorite of ours, but has declined significantly in quality. This is the second bad experience we've had here, and we only returned based on Tripadvisor reviews. I am writing this review to warn others and save them from wasting their money.

We came her a couple of days ago to celebrate our 32nd wedding anniversary, Nice little trip up memory lane as we spent many of our courting days trying out all the restaurants on stowell street, although it’s changed so much now, and this restaurant didn’t even exist back then, we were so pleased to have the opportunity to try it out.
