Langar Hall - Speisekarte

Simply beautiful afternoon tea, from the ambiance the service and the tea itself. Nothing too much trouble, expertly described cakes and scones. We will definitely be revisiting a truly wonderful experience.

Birthday afternoon tea for my daughters birthday was sublime. Lots of scrumptious food. Cheese scones melted in the mouth. We stayed in Bohemia which was especially romantic. Every time we go there is like going to the family home. There is no place like it.

Review for Guy! We thought the meal would be good but not that good! The food surpassed our expectations and if you want to experience fine dining in a non stuffy environment then Langar Hall is for you. The staff were attentive and engaging. Once again we had a great night this time six of us on arrival we were greeted by two excellent members of staff lovely rooms and as requested a very nice table in the dining room with as always an excellent meal and wines a wonderful time was had by all service was perfect as always and all members of staff are very friendly we will return

We visited this delightful restaurant for our birthday celebration. The food and service were outstanding. The staff strike the perfect balance between professionalism and friendliness. The menu is diverse and creative without being overly complicated. The dishes are beautifully presented. The atmosphere is charming. It is definitely worth a visit.

What a delightful place to enjoy Sunday Lunch, a quirky interior from a bygone age but we loved it. Greeted from welcoming and very friendly staff, drinks out in the garden while checking out the menu, no rushing here just take your time and enjoy. Three courses of excellently presented and tasty food which we all agreed was as good a lunch as we have had recently and thoroughly enjoyed by all, very impressed that they also offer a children's menu. We had been wanting to visit Langar Hall for a while, and it was definitely worth the wait. After previously dining at Hambleton Hall with friends earlier in the year, we found Langar Hall to be a perfect fit for us. The atmosphere, staff, and food were all wonderful. The setting was relaxed with charming and unique touches, and the service was impeccable - friendly and attentive. The variety of aperitifs, wines, cocktails, and beers were excellent and paired perfectly with the delicious food. We tried both the a' la carte and fixed menus, and everything was fresh and tasty. Although we are long time admirers of Langar Hall and despite living locally, it had been quite a while since we had last dined there a mistake we will not make again! Our Sunday lunch (to celebrate my wife’s birthday) was a special treat from beginning to end. Drinks in the lounge and then a specially printed ‘birthday menu’ from which to choose, set the right tone which was maintained throughout our meal. Such a pleasant and relaxed place for lunch, staff great,attentive but never intrusive or over familiar. It seemed very busy for Sunday lunch, but that didn’t effect service or quality of food. We didn’t have alcohol but no pressure to do so. Water on table was frequently replenished. One of our party needed gluten free and a separate menu was provided, with just as much choice as the main menu. I had cheese soufflé which was light and fluffy delicious.
