Beautiful restaurant with a quirky menu of delicious food and wonderful service. Our waitress was happy to explain the courses to us and recommended a gorgeous wine to finish our final night in BCN! The four cheeses were to die for as were the cheese, sausage and honey croques (if that’s how you spell it! would certainly return as it was great value for money!

Excellent hidden gem in the Gotic neighborhood. We (party of 5) found this restaurant 10 years ago (2012) and loved it: the menu is varied elaborate enough and well executed across all the dishes we ordered. This time (2022), we were a party of 4 and it was just as good this time as it was 10 years ago. The staff and owners are very attentive and pleasant. The atmosphere is one of an old cave that was tastefully renovated. The food and wine were excellent. When in Barcelona, we will certainly return.

The food here is quite simple, but really excellent, using superb ingredients to achieve something special despite not being complicated. That is actually hard to achieve, and is a sign of a top class restaurant. There are lots of options for starters, all excellent. We had the best jamon we have ever had here: total melt-in-the-mouth gorgeousness. The main courses are mostly what are described as the Catalan version of pizza, but they are more than that. These dishes are squares of superb fresh dough base with amazing toppings. They are amazing despite sounding simple! This is a friendly, unpretentious restaurant with food that is a rare treat.
