"A little disappointed to say in view of most Google reviews. Home absolutely nothing to say, I called to discard my reservation at the last moment to go to the first service, despite a crowded restaurant the gentleman welcomed me to the first service which really arranged me. The little negative point I would say, we took a salad alpage especially because there were nuts in it, or there wasn't one ... Then I ordered a brown cream ice cream and I had a white lady ...I went to mention the Mr kindly proposed to put me some brown cream but I wanted so much a brown ice ball with the brown cream that I stayed on my end. In view of the fare I find it a pity that our choices are no longer listen to and that there are not all the ingredients of the dish announced on the map."

"j ai étais extrêmement déçus du service en salle , minimum 20 minutes d attente entre chaque plat , c est inadmissible d autant plus quand la serveuse ce permet de prendre sa pose cigarette alors qu elle a du monde en salle , nouveau gérant qui ce permet de venir importuner ses clients a table et donc qui n a absolument rien compris aux mots services et client rois , et pour terminer des tiramisus qui ne sont qu une vulgaire crème anglaise baveuse et un gâteau perdu tout simplement immangeable . établissement a déconseiller a cent pour cent ."

"By the way, we went back to this crêperie. Cold and remote welcome by a lady of a certain age. Our pancakes were insignificant, without great flavor. Our table neighbors were very noisy, too chatty, which prevented us from taking a dessert because too eager to leave. Their pancakes served on them came carbonized, so brittle, which they regretted. What has comforted us in our absence of dessert and we left without regret."

"Difficile de trouver en Hte-Savoie un restaurant qui ne soit pas "attrape touristes"Découvert grâce à une Wonderbox, le trajet Annecy-St Féréol est largement compensé par un accueil de qualité, une salle agréable, un service performant et le plus important, une vraie cuisine faite par un vrai chef avec des produits de qualité.La comparaison avec certains restaurants annéciens laisse rêveur.Pour le même prix qu'un repas Métro proposé par la majorité des restaurants touristiques du Vieux Annecy, nous nous sommes régalés et visiblement l'adresse est connue, la salle étant pratiquement pleine ce jeudi midi.Merci pour ce déjeuner et continuez, vous faites honneur pour une profession qui, dans la région, en a bien besoin!!!!À refaire dés que possible"

"Having made the scenic 2.5 hr bike ride along the lake from Annecy and a bit beyond to finally arrive in Faverges, we scouted for an interesting restaurant and were SO LUCKY to just accidentally discover L’Orielle d’Ours! (Not shown on many maps and for some reason unlisted in TA’s list of places in Faverges). Although having a limited menu, precisely what one should expect of a small, genuine French restaurant, there were supurb choices, including vegetarian (and near veg and not at all veg) and local haute Savoie, some reasonable wine choices (including a pichet of excellent whatever local). Our plates were full of a nice variety of tasty items (I had a delightful spinach/goat cheese tart). The other 3 occupied tables appeared to also greatly enjoy whatever they had chosen. Breaking our usual habit of obstention, we chose to indulge in a slice of madame’s chocolate cake with 4 forks to share it out— WOW!!! This was awesome- worth the trip all by itself !! We asked if she had a guest book, and indeed she did- 7 of them- filled with happy commentary ! So, believe the other good reviews, and ignore the others (incidents do occur), this is a “destination” well worth any effort needed!
