The restaurant offers de rigueur classic starters: oysters, escargots, mussels and foie gras among others. I had the coup de foudre for the onion soup. The broth, made with caramelized onions, Gruyere cheese and croutons, is a simple dish, but delicious when well prepared. The legend attributes its creation to a French King, who, starving after a hunting party, ordered a dish to be prepared with the few ingredients available in his country lodge. This is a nourishing dish, but really, if you eat like a bird, you are in the wrong kind of aviary!

if they try to find a good French restaurant in a first class location in london, this is the right place. I was last night with friends there and loved the atmosphere. the choice of the wee is really good, it's a shame that I can't drink it at the moment. the menu selection is also quite good with key French dishes, the various taste directions good selection of meat and beautiful fish options as well. I went for the cod that was creamy and fabulous while my other half went for the lamb that was perfectly and really soft boiled! Absolutely incredible. This French restaurant is top-notch. The dining experience was outstanding, with each dish bursting with flavor and leaving me wanting more. The best way to describe this place is authentic. The ambiance was truly French, the staff all French with excellent English skills, and the cuisine was exceptional and true to its roots. The French onion soup was perfection, and although it was a generous portion, I could have easily eaten more. The highlight of the meal was definitely the chocolate fondant!
