First visit! And we're enchanted. Very good atmosphere, a warm welcome, a pleasant and fast service. A sincere interest to customers. The roast camembert was excellent and hearty! A real hard coffee worthy of Italians awaits you ...

We have been to Le Coche at our first night in Paris. We were tired and looking for a place which is near to our hotel and we have chosen Le Coche since it seemed cozy and crowded. We had a traditional salad with Camambert cheese, which was delicious. We had entrecôte and we liked it too. We have ordered a cheese plate with wine. It was including 3 types of delicious local cheese. The dessert was an apple pie and we did not like it.

Ordinarily, I woud not bother to review an otherwise ordinary brasserie, of which there are tons in Paris. But today, a sunny summer Thursday in the 13th Arrondissement, we needed lunch before an appointment nearby. And it turned out better than we expected: my spouse's four slabs of toast with rounds of warm goat cheese on top, sitting on a saled, were very tasty; and my egg on toast with salad was also good. Maybe the menu was a bit on the heavy side for a cardiac patient like me, and there was a certain sinful pleasure in doing lunch this way....but it was worth it!
