"We come to the village every year for the violet festival, and this is certainly our favourite place to eat here. At lunch time it's very busy, but at night, we practically have the place to ourselves. The menu is limited, but everything is delicious. It really seems to be run by one person alone. They have always offered to make us something special, we have always accepted, and it has always been delicious. It's so refreshing after big chains always wanting to do EVERYTHING, to have a tiny place just doing one thing well. The decor is nice and odd and sort of ad hoc. It's not a glossy fancy place - but rustic and artistic. There's a very friendly cat which of course I encouraged shamelessly. I recommend the Kir Violette to drink, and whatever they care to make you to eat. If you are vegan, or going gluten-free or cutting calories or dairy, this might not appeal to you. It's a really unique dining experience. The place is just off the main square."

I really like the view from the 18th floor and I love it.

Sehr schöne Gegend. Die Appartements sind unglaublich schön und luxuriös. Sehr bequem und eindrucksvoll. Der Anblick atemberaubend. Wirklich empfehlenswert

The Bay of Angels, you can imagine, lives up to its name wonderfully. Everything is within walking distance, the shopkeepers and restaurateurs are incredibly kind and caring.

Bad service, even worse food. The waiter is the cook and was obviously drunk. Shares outside area with nice restaurant next door, so be careful to choose the other (le cave de vin).

modern and warm restaurant. Good reception, good service. The dishes are good, well presented. On the other hand, there are some small touches of Moroccan subtleties. spices not marked enough, it lacks on some cumin, coriander, paprika, honey and cinnamon dishes. but overall it is successful.

Beyond the door, you will find yourself in the gardens of the majorelle in marrakech. amazing scenery, colorful atmosphere but without overload, comfort! and then the dishes are really successful: couscous with well cooked and delicious meats, tajine not too sweet, gastronomic desserts and diabolics. the wine list also allows you to discover Moroccan wines very well. A success!

This tiny place is in a cellar just off the town square. I imagine it could get very hot and stuffy in summertime, especially as the kitchen shares the same space.Six of us had the couscous to share. There were large amounts of everything from lamb to meatballs. The latter were particularly good. Some things could have been hotter, though.Prices are average for the town, service a little slower. For a more quirky "en famille" meal, Le Cocon is the place.

We expected to be too late for lunch, not asking for a table until 2.30pm. However, the friendly waitress told us she'd clear one as soon as a large party left and we were sitting down to order within five minutes. The menu was short but adequate for our needs. Three of us had very good omelettes, filled with provencale vegetables, whilst our usually very fussy nine year old devoured a large plate of excellent ravioli au fromage avec sauce pistou. The service was unhurried, but we enjoyed the relaxed ambiance and the medieval village surroundings. Three ice creams completed what was overall a pleasant experience. We would go again if back in the area.
