"There were 8 of us for lunch and arrived 30 minutes late. It is true that it would have been a lack of good manners not to warn, except that none of us had seen the time pass... To say we were given a cold welcome would be an understatement. We were treated to some extremely unpleasant comments, bordering on insulting. I can understand the restaurateur's exasperation, but he seemed to forget that he was talking to his customers. The rest of the service was pretty average, with a professional waiter and an intern or newbie doing what he could. The dishes overall were quite good, but the quantities were very heterogeneous: the scallop risotto is tiny while the beef ribs are enormous. The rum baba like other desserts is served in a glass pot. Practical for the cook, less so for the guest. The decoration has a recycling trend, with an assembly of heterogeneous materials and colors. Interesting feature: The lights, vases and various objects presented in the “Maisons du monde” style are for sale. The whole thing seems to come from Indonesia and some of the objects are rather original. Overall my opinion could have been favorable, but this moment of conviviality between friends was spoiled by an extremely unpleasant welcome bordering on arrogance and average service. It's a shame, we unanimously decided never to come back."
