"Een eenvoudig ingericht net restaurantje. Een juweeltje. Wij lopen hier al tienjaar regelmatig voorbij. Nooit binnen gegaan. De menu buiten is misleidend.Het lijkt duur in vergelijk met omliggende 'restaurants'. Maar dat zijn eet tenten.Uiteraard niet allemaal.Hier krijgt men waar voor zijn geld. Ik vermoed dat men nergens aan de Belgischekust deze kwaliteit vind aan deze prijs. We namen de menu incl. aangepaste wijnen.We krijgen fantastisch goede wijnen. Wie een ander gerecht had kreeg ook een anderewijn. Vriendelijk en verzorgde bediening. Reserven is zeker aan te raden. We hebbentwee keer geprobeerd zonder en moesten iets anders zoeken in de buurt. Derde keer goede keer dus."

"For years, I have enjoyed this establishment: restaurant and hotel. the couple of owners and his team distilled a warm, authentic, smiling atmosphere and the table was tasty. Back after a few years, the decor is there, the room is filled to half, our reservation registered for a second part of service: yet it will take time to be served. Sorry will tell us the waitress then another by the time to get rid of the dish, then a third to bring the desserts card. And yet I restaurant is slowly empty...We waited with the smile, the waitresses being not responsible for this state of fact. However, patience was not reciprocal. We were pressed at the end of the meal. You're done I can get rid of... if it's late, it's that you've been late to serve us, it's not the customer to pay the price with a sludge meal end. And the chief goes twice in the room. Not even a word a simple hello. Where's the old-fashioned atmosphere? Is that a estaminet or not? And there it is a minimum of politeness.What to eat: welsh ok, fries to review, medium gourmet coffee, and ineligible goat salad: pieces of badly toasted bread with calibrated goat and a minimalist salad. we reported: no response, no commercial action. I was happy to find this gai den of pirates, I did km for that, I don't plan to reschedule or my friends either. a problem of service and a dish below expectations it can happen but the lack of consideration of the clientele is inhibitory."

"Nous avons eu le plaisir de déjeuner à l’Estaminet des Dunes pendant nos vacances dans le Nord, et quelle expérience merveilleuse!! En tant que Nordiste d’origine, ce type de restaurant me manquait énormément, et l’Estaminet des Dunes a parfaitement comblé ce vide. Les tarifs sont vraiment exceptionnels compte tenu de la qualité de la nourriture. Chaque plat était un délice, préparé avec soin et mettant en valeur les saveurs authentiques de la région. L’ambiance chaleureuse et conviviale reflète tout ce que nous aimons dans le Nord : la bonne humeur, la générosité et l’accueil chaleureux.
