Le Ferrage buvette d'alpage

I visited some of my friends during my business last september. we had dinner, all the dishes are super, not a word to say. thank you for the best hospitable kerl is hopefully they will see them next time.

an amazing place with incredible eating and service. views super nice, quiet and very friendly people. recommended 100% we were a group of 6 people and enjoyed the local beer and eat. will be repeated without doubt!

We were doing the MTB tour of the Portes du Soleil when we took a slight wrong turn and ended up having a late lunch here. Stunning beyond belief. friendly and a great choice of dishes. We both went for salads which were imaginative and...fresh. The view was to die for and i needed that beer!

The restaurant is beatifully located with a splendid view on the Alps, the famous Dents du Midi. We had a very good lunch. Excellent cheese fondue with boletus. Our other dish was a quite nice Ferrage ommelette with very good French fries and salad. Good wine list. Very friendly staff and good coffee.

This restaurant would not exist were it not for the view of the Dents du Midi. The view is truly impressive. The food is reasonable, but not inspired. The service is painfully beyond belief. Two bits of advice - get there early if you want to eat at a sensible hour, and take a coat/sweater because it gets cold and the seating is mostly outside.

Wir trafen uns in Morgins und gingen umher, es dauerte etwa 75 Minuten, gefolgt von Aperitifs draußen, Mittagessen drinnen und Dessert draußen. Es war entspannend und großartig, um sich unter die Leute zu mischen. Das Wetter war selbst Mitte September außergewöhnlich und die Aussichten daher spektakulär. wir waren wirklich gut. durch ein freundliches Personal, das sich auf unsere Wünsche und Bedürfnisse einstellt. Einige von uns hatten ihre Hunde dabei und waren auch sehr zufrieden. eine großartige Gelegenheit, einen Tag zu verbringen, zu wandern und zu sehen, zu essen und zu trinken, mitzumachen. I love the Ferrage. In my opinion it is the best restaurant in the Port de Soleil and one of the hidden pearls in Switzerland. We go there several times a summer - as a couple, with our kids, with friends and business guests. The food is homemade though so dont expect a quick meal. The menu is typical mountain food with the welcome addition of grilled meat skewers and lovely homemade desserts, and the best homemade fries you can imagine. The local cheese they use (Champso!) is among the best in Switzerland. Try the fondue with wild garlic. The view of the Dent du Midi is world class. We went on a summers evening for the sunset and for the lovely brochette meats. We booked a little late to eat outside but our hosts greeted us with the option to take an aperitif outside followed by eating inside. The food may not be inspired but it is certainly very tasty. Locally produced meats and the menu goes through where every piece is sourced. The brochettes come with a salad, two vegetables, chips and two sauces. You can choose from chicken, pork, lamb or beef as well as a variety of other dishes. The salad is served as a starter with a lovely dressing which is a secret recipe of the chef! I had the pleasure of eating many times at "Le Ferrage" for lunch and dinner.The food is prepared from local produces. I rated it with a 4 for the service, the food and the value because we are in a high mountain pasture restaurant but for such a restaurant it well deserves a 5. The welcome is friendly and warm. If you meet the owner and talk to him then you will quickly realize you have a true passionate person. People who are working here are also always very attentive and available.The food is plentiful and always fresh.
