"We were taken to Le Jardin cafe for a meal as a treat. We all ordered different items and all of them were very tasty. We did feel that there was too much sauce in the meat dishes which made it very difficult to eat. Some of it had gone over the edge of the dish onto the salad below making it look very messy. The staff were not always available as one of them was chatting for some time to other customers but not about the menu or food. We were waiting for some time to place our order. Most of the staff were friendly and one suggested dessert items from the menu which she thought we would enjoy. Not sure if we would go back there in the future."

Visited here for the first time today with family. The food was tasty, if just ever so pricey. However the staff were polite, friendly and upbeat, which made for an overall very good experience. Speisekarte ansehen

We were out looking for somewhere for breakfast yesterday morning (Sunday) stumbled across Le Jardin Cafe in the garden centre at Kinross. Staff were lovely, nice surroundings, very clean and food was excellent We will definitely be back.

Absolutely delightful afternoon tea full of surprises with great flavours and fantastic presentation that was way beyond our expectations. The kitchen produced amazing fayre and the servers delivered in a prompt yet very friendly and reassuring way. Tasty savoury treats, light sandwiches and delicious scones...

Stayed at the nearby Travelodge and found this little gem within 4 minutes walking distance. We all had the full Scottish breakfast. The food was delicious and worth the price. 11.40 for sausage, bacon, fried egg, baked beans, black pudding, potato scone and tomato served with toast and preserve, apple or orange juice and a pot of tea or filter coffee. If we're ever passing we will definitely stop off here for food. Staff very pleasant and welcoming. Speisekarte ansehen

I have been coming to this restaurant for more than twenty years and it has always been amazing. However, my recent experience was disappointing. The quality of the food was not as good as it used to be. While some of the staff were still great, not all of them were up to par. Additionally, I noticed that the owner was never present, which I feel makes a difference. I wouldn't be in a hurry to return. The prices are not cheap, but I don't mind paying for quality. Unfortunately, that is not the case anymore.

I went for lunch and was disappointed with the standard and quality of food we were served. The Italian chicken panini was small, uninspiring, and lacking in filling. The baked potato with curried chicken and banana, which is normally excellent, had plenty of filling but unfortunately, the chicken was overcooked and tough, making it inedible. The prices for coffee have increased to a level beyond that of better quality coffee shops. Overall, the experience was not as good as what we have come to expect after years of dining here.

"We stumbled across this place on the last night of a fortnight in Scotland and couldn 't be more glad that we did and that they had space. We were seated promptly (underneath the fan thankfully considering the heatwave), asked whether we 'd eaten there before (we hadn 't), had the menu explained to us (suggested 3 tapas per person) and then left alone briefly to consider the menu. Once ordered, drinks were delivered in a timely fashion, followed by breads dips to tempt tide us over until our tapas arrived. It wasn 't very quick, but I didn 't think it was unduly long either just the right length of time for non fast food that is being prepared freshly. And when it arrived, we were delighted as it was delicious! The only slight disappointment was that salted cod wasn 't available, but that was soon forgotten. My personal favourite was the poached chorizo in red wine with honey glaze, but we were happy with all of our options (patatas bravas, haggis balls, pinchas de pollo, spinach chickpea stew, haddock in red pepper sauce and Spanish tortilla the latter really made by the spicy tomato salsa on the side). 5 between the two of us would probably have sufficed, which would have meant I had space for one of the ice creams, but in hindsight, I 'm glad I didn 't. Excellent service, delicious food, our best meal of our holiday. We probably won 't be back (living in Birmingham and all) but definitely would if we were local."
