Le Jardin de Bambou

Very good and ample menu. Good quality of food, friendly service. Prices are acceptable, not necessarily cheap. Also a good sign is that the place is visited by lots of Asians.

We used to go here often but the last few times have gotten progressively worse. It's edible and it is Chinese but anyone from London, New York, San Francisco who has a Chinatown will be disappointed. Mundane version of real Chinese food.

We had a huge friends dining experience and a three course meal. It was great!! soups, starters and main course. Limited in Veg but the food was good. the waiter serving us seem to be fried, he would not respond to me requesting him vegetarian. dunno if its the veg or my lack of french!! Speisekarte ansehen

we heard this was a good place. they are very rigid about their timings, so the staff eat outside at the hour up to 7pm. customers who want to eat can go and ??? so arrive at 7 and be seated. the staff are waiting for huge Chinese groups who prebook set menus and have no time to help you.leave it out.

If you want to feel real asian atmosphere you should defenetly come to this amazing chinese restaurant!!! It is real heaven for those who wants try something diferent in Cannes! I was in many restaurants in Cannes including michelin and authentic restaurants, but Le Jardin de bambou is the most awesome restaurant in Cannes!!!

We went there for lunch but unfortunately the kitchen closes at 14:30 hrs so we went back again for dinner the same day.. the owner always has a smile on his face and greets you very warmly.Our entire meal was suggested by him..Good Food, served prompt and hot..highly recommended place.Suggestion- the serving for the plate of veg fried rice could be increased Speisekarte ansehen

We went there on a week night as we saw the place also had Chinese customers. So thought it must be ok. The owners were warm and welcoming but the waiters (except for one french waiter who was good and fast) were clumsy and obviously new at the job. We had the usual suspects of sweet and sour chicken, shrimp fried rice and stir fried veggies. Along with assorted dim sum. The dim sum was ok. The veggies were good. The rice and chicken were anything but Chinese ... So won't be going back anytime soon...

One of the most frustrating eating experiences. Watching many different people served their meals before us after arriving a long time after us is never good management on behalf of a restaurant, but then when the server is unable to distinguish between the vegetarian ordered for and the non vegetarian and their answer is to say that they don't know because they 'haven't worked there long enough' really makes you wonder about the trust you can place in eating at this establishment. The food was not good enough to justify the wait.

No matter where I travel around the world, I often try Asian restaurants to know what the locals know about this cuisine...most often I am disappointed as having lived in HK and Tokyo where the best is served, it is truly difficult to find good authentic Asian restaurants elsewhere....so unfortunately this one in Cannes is added to my list of disappointments....it may have been good once a long time ago but having tried it twice this week, I do not recommend it....the owner from Shanghai seems like a mean and pretentious person assuming the clientele will think he is serving something typical and good but in fact all the dishes we have seen and tasted are tasteless and very expensive.
