"We, my husband and our two friends, called there for a late morning coffee but were so impressed by the look of the food when the lunch service began that we decided to return after a bit of sightseeing. We arrived back at 2.30pm and we were pleased to find that the Plat de Jour was still available. This turned out to be the best meal of our holiday. Neil (husband) and I had steak in a green peppercorn sauce. The sauce was served in a little pot so you could use as much or as little as you wanted but it was so good we both ate it all. Crispy, delicious, frites and a substantial salad also came with the meal as well as bread rolls. We chose the apple flan for dessert and this was beautifully presented with the plate dusted with icing sugar and with a good dollop of vanilla sauce and cream- simply delicious. Coffee was also included in the set menu that cost 14.90 euros. The plat de jour offers several choices and the salad that our friends decided on looked like a work of art-! very impressive! This was a superb meal with very good service. My only criticism is that the seating was a bit tatty and could benefit from refurbishment. As an overall dining experience I'd highly recommended it."

I stopped here for drinks only the service was very good the restaurant was clean and well presented the toilets were clean if ever here again I will visit this restaurant again

Hurry up. The service even slows down express menus are as fast as normal dishes. Despite this, the dish is of very good quality, 100% home and very original. I recommend the quality of the meal and if you had time to wait.

We had lunch here - my sons were happy with the children's menu selection and we enjoyed traditional French cuisine on their menu du jour. Appeared to be a popular place with the locals as it was very busy and had friendly service.

we were for lunch, nice reception. one of us takes a menu with red meat... not too tender. the others choose a full welch... no matter what to say, it was very good, the fries also and even the little salad good conscience to accompany. Good value quality price for a lunch break in the city center.

We had a lovely meal at this little restaurant / bar in Dunquerke France. The food was of a very good standard, freshly cooked and plenty of it. We waited about 40 mins which was great and it was very reasonable priced. If you are looking for good food this is your place. It was our second visit to the bar this year and we would definitely recommend it and go again.
