Le Portofino - Speisekarte

We like the food. Sometimes we feel that the tables are a little too close but they only have the summer to make their living so we accept it. At night the atmosphere is lively. Parking is a nightmare though.

Vue sur le port. Soupe de poisson et beignets calamars en entrée tres bon. Moules au roquefort et curry très bonnes et bien lavées (pas le cas dans tous les restaurants) Mais le service est à revoir.. manque de coordination qui montre une mauvaise ambiance

Have eaten in the bounty regularly for the past number of years.The menu 16euro is excellent. I,being a creature of habit, have the fish soup to start, the confit de canard as a main and finish with the cheese.For value and service in my opinion it cannot be beaten Speisekarte ansehen

C'est la première fois que je viens dans la région. Nous sommes assis par hasard à la terrasse de ce restaurant,et je n'ai pas été déçu. Très bon accueil. Rapide,très bonne cuisine,un régal. Personnel sympathique,et professionnel.que du bohneur pour passer un bon moment sur le port...

Accueil lamentable!!! Nous sommes deux, au moins 10 tables de libre. Le patron nous a demandé de nous lever une fois assises parce que la table à laquelle un de ses serveurs nous avait installé était soit disant réservée! Autant vous dire que nous sommes parties immédiatement! Cet établissement n'est pas du tout recommandable et le nombre d'avis "horrible" en dit long sur l'état d'esprit du patron!

Nous étions présent le même jour que la table de 9 qui soit disant a été refusé pour la poussette. Ce commentaire est exagéré le restaurant était déjà bien rempli donc il n'y avait pas la place pour accueillir 9 personnes. La cuisine était bonne et le service à été impeccable. Nous avons prit mon conjoint et moi même du poisson ainsi que de la viande le poisson était bon et la viande fondée dans la bouche. Rien à redire. En dessert tarte tatin succulante. Nous avons choisis ce restaurant au hasard et celui-ci ne fait pas toujours bien les choses.Accueil presque froid par le patron (un sourire ne coûte rien), nous avons été installés en terrasse. Chaises confortable mais impossible de les approcher de la table à causes des pieds inadaptés qui butent.Les moules "marinières" qui baignaient dans de l'eau salée n'avait aucun goût. Quand aux autres nous avons eu du mal à déceler le parfum du Roquefort.Nous étions tellement déçus que nous sommes repartis sans prendre de dessert.Seule note agréable: la serveuse gentille et agréable.

I have read the recent reviews and there seem to be a large number of negative comments. This is at odds with our very enjoyable experience.The staff were friendly and very welcoming. The interior is pleasant, (but not romantic!) and the restaurant overlooks the harbour / marina.We were there on an out-of-season Saturday evening when the restaurant was half full (better than the adjacent places!) and at least half of the diners were known to the owner and others in the restaurant, so probably locals. Good sign! My wife and I love fish, so this was a good place to eat with a nice à la carte selection and some good menus. We had a very nice meal and a bottle of local wine (reasonably priced)....

We have two of our adult children staying with us at our apartment in St Cyprian plage, so trying lots of different restaurants. We have eaten at Le Bounty once before. This time it was a cloudy evening and looked like it might rain. The other restaurants along the seafront were not encouraging people to eat outside, but there were laid tables at Le Bounty and when we asked the owner said...Ah the weather similar to the UK, it will be fine...There were 5 of us....my daughter went for Zarzuela which she said was very good...that was followed by a cheese plate (salad and camembert) and a pudding...tart of the day which was a peach tart...perfect.
