Borgo Cotogni restaurant deserves much more than 5. Also renowned as an ice cream shop, but the lunch that delighted my palate was excellent, a simple but welcoming place, clean and tidy and well looked after in detail. "Driving from Ancona to the north of Italy we wanted to stop for an Italian lunch along the way and this restaurant popped up. It 's a really nice place, typical Italian casa with a bit backyard and open space to enjoy the nice weather. Food was very good, typical Italian dishes, although beware, they don 't serve pizza for lunch and I was disappointed! Be sure to make a reservation. We arrived early and the place was empty but by the time we left there was almost no table available. Easy access to and from the autostrada, it 's definitely worth the small detour."
