"Question - when you eat as many curries as I do, why oh why do I insist on eating Indian when abroad? Not sure - maybe it's just a fascination that the rest of europe could be catching the UK up. Anyway - me and the missus rolled up and ordered onion bhajis and a couple of chicken dishes. The restaurant is not big (just off the main Jeanne D'Arc square), and consequently the menu is not as extensive as you might get in the UK. It seemed a reasonably popular place with a number of customers obviously known to the owner which is always a good sign. However, he was also the only waiter and consequently the poor man was often almost running to keep up with the orders, which did sometimes cause a wait. It also prompted a sort of randomness that I can only describe as "Wagamama-esque", for example, the naan bread turned up with the starters. And although the plateful of onion bhajis were plentiful and tasty, there was no mint yoghurt to go with it! The main meal was as close to a british curry as I have had abroad (except one in Turkey run by a bloke from Slough), although for me, there was just a little something missing in the spices. All in all a good effort, but would do well in hiring more staff.Oh and one last comment on the music, which started excruitiatingly bad and got humurous as the night went on - Indian bagpipes which sounded like someone strangling Sweep (off the Sooty show!)"

good and varied dishes but not very copied. on the terrace, dirty seats. Good welcome. classic setting for an Indian restaurant.

Nice and correct service. a bit expensive for the size and quality of the rations (they were refinished). Although we have to say that the camarwro when he saw that we were finished the rice brought us more.

We ate in this Indian restaurant one evening in the week.We choked the dishes on the map (but there are menus) . however the addition is a little expensive (extra charge to the card). the service has been quick.the boss is kind and smiling. the dishes are good and in correct quantity. small flat we have had cold ....

all the chosen dishes, we were 10, were excellent and the nickel service provided by the boss. We went there in the week, about ten tables, the restaurant was almost complete. I guess the weekend reservation is imperative! prices quite correct (without alcohol , hearty meal on the menu 23€ for a naan , a dish and rice ). I recommend this address.

Whilst staying at Héricourt-en-Caux and on a visit to Rouen, we dined at this restaurant.Interestingly, the restaurant is Pakistani although it is described as Indian! We had a good dinner and enjoyed the curries.Including the main course, pichet of wine and a dessert, the cost was €35 for the two of us.We would eat there again should the opportunity arrise.

Although this restaurant is my very first Indian I've been a little dubitative. I cook Indian at home and I haven't found this variety of flavors in the dishes and these are cruelly lacking vegetables! the sauces are too salty and sweet, too fat. I ate a vegetarian curry of chick peas with rice. fortunately the rice was the because I couldn't even eat half the curry because of salt and fat. Too bad. good service overall.
