excellent meal and excellent service. we visited this restaurant 4 years ago and were very happy to have a nice evening again. highly recommended. we only have a few days in la ciotat, but will go back there before we go.

Superb frame, perfect service, dish of the day worked... as pleasant at noon as the night. Don't hesitate to go, you'll have a good time. The tables on the outside are coveted, so you better book. Parking possible inside the noon

We have visited Le St Jean many times. The location is second to none, very special. The staff are friendly and helpful. The menus are interesting, the food is delicious (especially the fish cooked on the wood fire) everything is always beautifully presented. This restaurant...is good for a romantic dinner or a family celebration. Enjoy.

This restaurant is so far my favorite is far away! Since our weekend in La Ciotat, we always book a table. The ideal noon to enjoy this magnificent view and the evening for the cocoon effect for a romantic dinner! I was invited to a large family party at this resto and impressed by the standard of service and quality of food, which is not always the case with large group events. One vegetarian in our group was invited to order what he wished. My...own dietary problem with dessert not previously registered was handled perfectly. Will definitely come again, en couple.

Went for a dinner one night. Stayed at the hotel Plage St Jean. The restaurant's cuisine is good, the service was not as good though. I noticed that essentially there was only one waiter to serve both the patio and the inside area too...much for one guy, hence long waits. Other than that, the location is good nice view on the sea, right on the beach. Convenient for the hotel clients.

This is the second time here. Although not easy to find and parking can be a challenge, it is well worth seeking out situated right on the beach with great views. The menu is straight forward and one has to go with fish. he Rougets...Grilles are excellent as were dishes of Swordfish and a Risotto St Jacques.
