A restaurant that offers a flat-entry meal dessert at 14€50 in a highly touristic site. Nice terrace, nice staff. I recommend without moderation.

Friendly and smiling staff. Amounts on certain dishes too weak ex cassoulet containing too small several tables next to me we make the grimace on arrival. I took a coffee from Liège 3 balls a bit of whipped even the coulis and coffee beans. Camembert roasted with charcuterie just 1 slice of white ham and 1 slice of raw ham.I do not recommend this restaurant

Excellent experience this wkd at noon! We loved the atmosphere, service, freshness/quality of products, and choices in menus (very affordable). We will return with pleasure! To bounce back on the comments that complain about small quantities and well for the same price you can eat the box in other restaurants... I'd rather finish a good plate with just the right amount.

If you visit the City of Carcassonne and want to have lunch there, don't stop at the first restaurant you come across. Climb a little further and you are on a “plot”. Restaurant “le Trauquet” and its dish of the day…. Starter, main course AND dessert €14.90. 3 starters of your choice, three main courses and dessert. June 21: gizzard salad or country terrine or mozzarella and tomatoes. Dish of the day in addition to its cassoulet and duck sleeve, duck steak served with well-cooked vegetables and crepe or ice cream dessert (2 scoops)… Very very good considering the price and quality of the products… This deserves to go beyond the restaurants which are from the start… noisier.
