Abbiamo pranzato in questo ristorante tipico calabrese e leggendo le recensioni positive, avevamo delle aspettative più alte. Gli antipasti abbondanti e abbastanza buoni, il primo invece, insapore, insipido e anche i funghi non mi sono piaciuti. Il vino della casa, a mio avviso, per nulla buono.

My second time here as a visitor from Australia with Calabrese family and it remains my favourite restaurant in Reggio (and Calabria! . The best food around, especially the antipasti. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an authentic, excellent and comfortable meal whilst in Reggio. Also has good air conditioning which you can’t look past in the Italian summer.

Came here for the 2nd time with my boyfriend (he's from reggio I'm English) both times amazing food, the antipasto was so big we couldn't eat the main meal first time so the second time we didn't order more. Hearing that I was English one of the waitresses spoke to me in English which was really lovely. Wine, food, atmosphere and service were really good. Highly recommend. Speisekarte ansehen

ristorante nel centro di calabria a conduzione familiare. si sta bene e si mangia ugualmente bene senza glutammato. Ero lì in occasione del pranzo di Natale e nonostante la festa, il momento in cui si fa a tirare via (alti prezzi e qualità discutibili,) in questo caso è stato tutto trattato, dall'antipasto al dessert e anche il prezzo era adeguato. Alla fine del pasto, consiglio di chiedere il succo amaro: un amato calabrese difficile da trovare.

Il ristorante si presenta come una cucina casereccia dedicata alla tipicità calabrese, e così è. In effetti abbiamo potuto assaggiare soltanto l'antipasto ricchissimo, consigliato dall'affabile proprietario, che ci ha completamente saziati con una serie di verdure salumi, formaggi e, naturalmente, l'immancabile nduja. Correttissimo il prezzo. Vista anche l'abbondanza di condimento usata nei piatti sicuramente per palati forti. Un'altra volta rinunceremo all'antipasto per poter assaggiare anche primi e secondi.

Possibly the best meal we've eaten in Italy. There's no menu, but the owner will talk you through what's on offer each day. Huge amounts of Calabrian food are then magicked up by the chef. We had the antipasti (aubergine caponata, pickled cabbage, frittata, amongst other things), a primo (pasta with cheese and walnuts), washed down by a local red. The lemon sorbet as a pudding was superb too. We were especially pleased that the restaurant was able to offer a range of vegetarian dishes. The atmosphere is wonderfully homely. Not many places in Reggio offer local cuisine at an affordable price, so Le vie del gusto is a real gem and not to be missed. Speisekarte ansehen
