"We have been meaning to go here for sometime now, after seeing all the positive reviews online. We went on Saturday at 12:30 and had a table booked, which turns out was a smart move! Even with outside seating people were turned away because the place was full! I had a special jerk chicken burger and the misses a saltbeef bap thing, plus we split a side of prawn battered pork belly. The food was great and the service friendly but not overly familiar. For the food you get (freshly prepared) the price is more than fair. Pros Good food Good price nice staff independent local business Cons small establishment (not an issue if you book like we did)"

Wow wow and wow again. When you’re at home watching those late night TV programmes that make you want to travel the world for some fine food well this demon craving has been exorcized and only 15 mins from my house!!! You MUST try this place. Awesome!

Their sunday roasts are just like your nans 11/10 totally banging, unless you were very unlucky and yours didn't know how to cook haha. The staff here are also very nice, helpful and really polite too. Definitely the best place in town to eat. Thank you.

Absolutely love this place Took my mum here a couple of years ago as a Mother's Day treat and it's the place she heads for every time she visits Southend now Went with mum and the kids yesterday and we were all more than happy, my daughter is veggie and there was plenty of choice for her. Lovely staff, good prices, just wish it was bigger so I could take more people!

that was always coming to the fb, so I thought I would go and I am very glad that I did it! quieter, more cozy place with a relaxed atmosphere and friendly, attentive staff. and eating. wow! I experienced the bubbles and chic that gave the old blase and a delicious revamp quetsch, and my sohn my sohn that had an enormous appetit and is known the haloumi fries that we ordered as a side where a step too far, a case of eyes bigger than bauch, but we still managed to eat half the generous portion would have been rude not! can not recommend this place enough and will be back asap, a real gem that reminds me of the old funkyend south.
