This chic spot is a little distance from the centre but it was worth the walk. Personal service and tasty food were our reward. Would recommend.

This small bistro had an a la carte and menu options. The waiter was very helpful with translating the menu that was listed on a chalkboard. The food was beautifully presented and tasty too. Our party of 4 enjoyed our dinner.

A little gem hidden outside of the seaside..walking to this place from the center of Biarritz is also a plus.. Amazing food, great and friendly staff. Escargot that will be incredibly difficult to beat, an egg carbonara without the pasta, and the monkfish in lime and coconut emulsion and the hake with squid ink was cooked to perfection!!!! A definite must when in the area…

Just look at the photo!! Starter, two mains and a dessert. Oxtail/foie gras is the starter, sea bass and scallops are the mains and a rather special pineapple/caramel eclair dessert. We were a party of four so not all of our choices are shown. Our reception and service was very friendly and the food was excellent. The sweet Basque beer proved to be an enjoyable aperitif. Even our dog was made very welcome!

We ate from the set menu for €26. You have 2 choices which is quite limiting especially if like me you don't eat fish. Starter was very good a puree of melon or a scrambled egg with ham which my husband liked. The belly pork was fine but the veg was delicious could have just eaten a bowl of it! We had cafe gourmand for dessert which had a selection of sweet. Prices were reasonable for Biarritz. An enjoyable meal.

Leonie is somewhat away from the centre of Biarritz which has the advantage of easy parking and a quieter atmosphere. The daily "cocotte" for lunch is always good value and reflects willingness to innovate using fresh local produce. The "carte" is changed fairly frequently and also contains many delicious and innovative dishes. For example, yesterday we had a pie containing baby pork meat perfectly cooked and succulent with a wine sauce reduction. Pity the Guide Michelin has already decided for 2017! .

This quiet and rather out of the way restaurant is a find indeed. There were four of us and we ate from the €26 menu. I had a most delicious starter, followed by the chicken breast stuffed with morilles. The wine was excellent and not too expensive. We all finished off with the Cafe Gourmand. The service was run by one person, so we did have rather a wait - but it was worth it. Delicious food in a comfortable environment served by a pleasant person. The entire bill came to €140. I'll be back in a heartbeat.

On holiday in Biarritz for one week we were tempted to eat here by the Tripadvisor reviews - we were not disappointed. In fact, we enjoyed our first visit so much we immediately booked for later in the week. The manager was discrete but knowledgeable and guided us through our menu choices and wines. Outstanding was the cote de boeuf for two. This dish takes a little longer to prepare, but you will be richly rewarded. Starters were innovative and desserts delicious. This restaurant is not in the centre of Biarritz, but is well worth seeking out - fabulous!

We wanted a quality restaurant for our last night in Biarritz and Restaurant Leonie delivered perfectly. My wife and I were on holiday with our two daughters aged 9 and 11 who are at the "fussy eater" stage. This ruled out the two Michelin Star restaurants in Biarritz, but Restaurant Leonie is Michelin rated and a bit more informal.The outcome was great.
