"Les Artistes isn't so much a restaurant as an experience. It's like being invited into someone's home. Jean-Jacques (the owner) does everything, he takes your coat at the door, makes the food, and pours your wine. I do not eat chicken or meat, so my meals there were usually the same (vegetarian lasagna, and lentilles -- yum!). I imagine the meat meals are much better than the veggie ones, and mine was pretty incredible. All the times I went here, I went with someone who was a friend of Jean-Jacques, so I think that made my experience different... but I can still definitely recommend this place. It feels very authentic. At least for me, it was a part of my "authentic" six months in Paris. Highly recommended...."

Good little Parisian cuisine. fast service, but for the first time unwelcome. But what do you want, we certainly can't recognize everyone! my first appreciation of your: I come back quite far back, I didn't go back there anymore, and maybe (this kind of place) it's already changed.
