We were a bit hesitant having read the other reviews, but our experience was good. We tried the seafood platter for one and the lobster menu. No complaints whatsoever. Nice view on the beach as well.

In fact we had our best sardines there! Both desserts were also clearly over average. But service was annoying it took 15 min to get menu and 20 min to get the bill. In reality we would be ready to go back, hoping for better waitress.

We had lunch here in September. All the restaurants along the promenade were busy and we found this by chance. The terrace overlooks the sea and the harbour and has a great view. We ordered seafood, which involved no cooking and were served relatively quickly. However, we notice that others who had ordered cooked food were waiting for a considerable time. The food was good, the waitress pleasant and the view wonderful. However, be prepared for a wait.

If you want a decent view come here, but if you want good food go somewhere else. Very slow and poor service. Avocado prawn starter amateur at best, the sole main was average with poor accompaniments, the kougin amman was worst I have ever tasted and an insult to this classic Breton pastry, it tasted shop bought from a budget supermarket and then overcooked. A very long lunch with a good view but would not go back Saw a French lady send moules frites back; how do you get that wrong?

Given the prestige of the establishment seen from the outside, we expected a cozy and friendly setting. It was nothing. the decor is freezing, worthy of a defacated road. no comfort, raw and unpleasant lights, no presentation. I guess this restaurant sits on its terrace in summer for tourists. waitress (patronne in jean basquettes. Basic meal, no more. Anyway, it's all over again to have a good time. There were couples and a table on a Saturday evening (including us), I understand why!

Strictly not true as I remembered the starter as I typed the title- it was a fish soup that was out of the cheapest can, made all the more disappointing by the fact one of my fellow diners had had a really thick and generous one the day before in Dinan, so the watery stuff served here wasn’t up to restaurant standard. The location was good one floor up overlooking the beach and prominard and with a good view. However I’m damned if I can remember my main course, and I cannot even find a copy of the menu online to use as an aide memoir.

One of the best dinners of our month in France. It's traditional French cuisine with a creative touch that doesn’t interfere with the primary flavors. We loved the menu at 30€, with starters of 4 smoked fish and 6 delicious oysters; mains of scallops with a sauce subtly flavored with turmeric and squid with rouille sauce. Our desserts were a caramel mousse and panna cotta with raspberry coulis. We loved the white wine, a Reuilly at 28€, the best wine of our trip (a more complex version of a Touraine). Service was friendly and effective. The restaurant is in a beautiful spot overlooking the beach. Outdoor tables are available; call to make a reservation.

This first floor venue by the seafront fitted us in at 8.30pm on a Saturday night when most other restaurants were full. They were fairly busy, but squeezed us in on the terrace, which had a delightful sea breeze wafting over our table very welcome in the heatwave! I had tasty hake with a beurre blanc sauce and excellent vegetable accompaniments of heritage carrots and sliced stacked potatoes; the rest of my family had moules frites which were tasty but the mussels were on the small side and sadly the chips were overcooked and flavourless. The desserts of salted caramel mousse and chocolate delice were superb and very much enjoyed. The table service was good, prompt and polite, and we enjoye...

The view was great, the food was okay, but the service was terrible. They were very slow and rather unfriendly. First they got our order (entrées) wrong, after that we had to wait for a long time to get the rest of our food. Other tables were waiting for almost one hour before they could even order their food and drinks. Everyone looked very annoyed and that influenced the atmosphere of the entire restaurant. It seemed like they were understaffed, but they kept on taking new tables. The waiter was very friendly, he tried to do his best and he knew about the problems.
