I am a regular at the LIghthouse: I love the fresh veggie food, I love that they have the most deicious gluten free brownies I've ever tasted and the chef takes delight in making sure the food is just how you like it. Excellent service...and atmosphere

The food at this restaurant is delicious, the prices are affordable, the staff is super friendly, and the decor is very clean and delightful. It is like a light of hope in Catford. On our way home, we decided to stop for a bite to eat as we were hungry. We were very impressed with the decor of the restaurant and found the service to be excellent. I ordered a delicious fish dish and the dessert was also very tasty. The wine list was extensive and we found it very satisfying. We definitely plan to return in the future.

We have been dining at The Lighthouse since it opened. Every evening has been fantastic. As locals, we appreciate the regularly changing menu, while still ensuring high quality food is served. The staff is friendly and the service is top-notch. I highly recommend The Lighthouse for any occasion, from a casual meal for two to a special celebration. Over the years, we have had many birthday parties here and it continues to be one of the best restaurants in Wimbledon.

What a wee place. It's so nice to get a proper fry up that consists of more than dry toast and beans. I often pop in before work for this or after the gym to indulge in a cake. The coffee is great too. The...place has a nice relaxed atmosphere, although visually it's a bit plain. The staff are polite and helpful but the service isn't the fastest so sometimes I have to forgo a visit if I'm tight on time. A rare veggie vegan café in the chicken-shop-canyon that is Catford SE6. Open for breakfast, brunch/lunch and coffees teas some with a Caribbean twist such as the full breakfast of red kidney bean sausage (with clearly identifiable beans, not the mush of mock-meat...attempts), spicy potatoes peppers and mushrooms with toast. Child friendly if the families there are anything to go by. Might need to keep up with service if custom picks up and it could do with a few more people on the busy thoroughfare popping in. I was delighted when I heard about this cafe as it is so close to my flat. I've now been a couple of times and will definitely be going back. Firstly, the staff are all very friendly and courteous and the cafe itself is bright...and has a relaxing atmosphere. There is also a selection of daily papers available to have a read of whilst enjoying a meal and drink. There is a good range of cakes, both veggie and vegan which are great with a lovely cup of tea. Stopped off at the Lighthouse Cafe on a Saturday for the first time to sample something other than my coffee on the way to work. As usual the welcome was warm and friendly while I browsed the menu. I settled for a Lighthouse Breakfast and...followed by a slice of vegan Lemon and coffee!! I know.....Greedy, right?! The food at the Lighthouse is truly wholesome, tasty and filling....I am an omnivore but, I really enjoyed my breakfast, cake and coffee......although, it can get busy, it felt chilled and relaxed although, I suspect that if business increases as I think it will, staffing ratios will need to be adjusted to cope.
