lovely food, the staff cannot do enough for you and it's super relaxed. All that with the lovely surroundings and walks, I would definitely recommend.

Lovely staff. Lovely food had the cheese and tomato relish roll and it was delicious and as for the sticky toffee pudding the best I’ve had ???? . Very welcoming to walkers and dogs. Loved it and can’t wait to go back ????

Called in here for ice cream after a walk around Tarr Steps. The ice cream was fine but nothing out of the ordinary. It was £3.50 for 2 small scoops plus an extra pound for a tiny chocolate flake!! Unbelievable. Won't be returning.

We popped in after walking our dogs on the moor. We were greeted with a large smile and a huge choice of wonderful looking Geleto Ice cream. We sat and enjoyed watching the robot milking the cows. Not something we see every day!! The Geleto ice cream was fantastic. A must if you are in Exmoor.

At the end of our holiday in Devon last week, we went out of our way to try the ice creams at Liscombe on Exmoor, only to discover that it was closed when we arrived. Despite being listed in our guidebook from Spring 2019, both the cafe and ice cream parlour were clearly not in operation. The banner over the cowshed area still remains, but it seems that the ice cream parlour has been closed for quite some time. What a disappointment!

This is not a review of the ice cream parlor, which was closed (likely due to Covid-19). Instead, I stayed at Oak, one of the trio of cottages run by the same people. My family bubble and I had a wonderful time there. Oak had great facilities and was conveniently located near some fantastic Exmoor walks. It was a lovely change to go somewhere different after lockdown that felt safe. The cottage was very clean and well-maintained, with a nice wood-burner for the chilly April evenings. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well-equipped with a fridge, freezer, dishwasher, cooker, and everything else we could need. Speisekarte ansehen
