"Our group of 9 enjoyed a superb lunch today , the selection on the 18 euro and 30 euro menu was original , beautifully presented and tasted excellent. Nothing was too much trouble , we were able to mix and match from the two menus, one person fancied chips instead of the wonderful carrot and coconut mash !! no problem , the sweet trolly with the 30 euro menu was a dream for pudding lovers.The new owners of 5 months made every effort to ensure we had a memorable lunch. I will certainly be returning soon and will spread the news locally about our experience"

"What a disappointing evening! On Thursday night, the restaurant was pretty full, but short of staff. An hour after we placed our order, the waiter came to tell us that the order was not in the kitchen. one of our main dishes was no longer available, but guests sitting next to us, who arrived half an hour later, I always have this dish! the service was incredibly slow and inattentive - we had to remind him several times to bring drinks that he had forgotten. food itself was medium and nothing special. entries were not very creative and the calf scalope was cooked in vacuum. It was too cooked and lacked flavor. Despite the waiting for an hour and a half to get the first bite and considering that many things went wrong tonight, we didn't even get a free coffee - just a sorry one. very unprofessional service and in total a deeply disappointing evening!"

"Nous avions l’habitude de nous retrouver entre amies Chez Germaine avant le changement de propriétaires. Nous n’étions pas revenues depuis, et la semaine dernière nous avons eu envie de tester, mais nous ne reviendrons pas après cette déception. A commencer par l’accueil, qui n’a rien de chaleureux : le serveur se limite strictement à son rôle de serveur, nos questions sur les plats ne sont pas les bienvenues, nous sentons l’évitement, le sourire est absent. Chez Germaine nous aimions le choix de bières artisanales et locales (La Berlue), a présent seules heineken et affligem sont sur la carte, donc si vous souhaitez boire une bonne bière abstenez-vous. En revanche il y a un choix de vins locaux. La qualité des tapas n’est plus la même non plus, certains restent très bons, d’autres nettement moins. Mais surtout, c’est la quantité qui nous a choquées! Les portions sont vraiment ridicules, par contre le prix lui a bien augmenté. C’est très cher, le rapport qualité quantité prix n’y est pas. Dessert alléchant mais au final super décevant car blindé de chantilly pour masquer le vide de l’assiette : Voilà pour notre expérience, c’est bien dommage mais vu ce que nous avons payé pour ce que nous avons bu et mangé, il y a des adresses bien meilleures sur Gaillac."

"very disappointed in this place, very pretty setting, good reception has the backlog, and it's all over the price that has my meaning is prohibitive, the quality was really not there, four pan-hearted egg menus casting salad to start, not bad. with the same main dish for us four, and even decanted hard meat, very nervous hard to cut (with meat knife) and impossible to macher. fries not to the top, yet animal selected for its meat in the area is well display everywhere. So back cooking for our meats and tighten up with real meat, finally. dessert , caramel butter salted wolf, which spoiled dessert ,meanable but still, for this price there, we are waiting for another service . according to your principle, welcoming and making good respect for the client is essential, when you want you can. !!! to see again but in three or four years"
