Little Canton - Speisekarte

Excellent food and really attentive to food preferences, checked any questions we had with the kitchen when we ordered a takeaway and eating in the restaurant.

We had a takeaway, worst Chinese food we have had in years. Will not be returning. Chicken curry was dry strips of chicken bulked out with mushrooms. Chilly beef was like cardboard with a standard sauce, disappointing.

We were late home and needed food so popped in to see if we could get a take away, staff friendly and accommodating the food was cooked fresh and was still really hot when we got home. Will definitely order form there again as they deliver as well. Speisekarte ansehen

Worst experience of Chinese food I have ever experienced in my 57 years. The duck was all bone and gristle or skin and more like someone’s leftovers. The sweet and sour had no flavour when it eventually turned up long after my noodles had gone stone cold. Awful experience that I gladly promise never to subject myself to again.

This place was good as the Riverside but such a big change. Went on Thursday evening at 8pm not one table was taken and I was the only one picking up a takeaway. It used to be packed. Food was poor quite greasy and sweet and sour prawns was just full of peppers and 8 small prawns. Satay chicken had little flavour. I used to be a regular but won't ever go again.

Wrote a whole review then deleted it as it wasn’t worth the ‘ink’! All I’m saying is that the bin enjoyed it and afterwards I was eating a sandwich to fill myself up! Genuinely the add boiling water to blue packeted noodles, or the ones that come in a plastic pot, had three times as much taste! We came here for my daughters 16th last July which was amazing and my dads 70th birthday this weekend and had a night to remember. The staff are friendly the food was delicious plentiful but what really made the night was the DJ and his music. I love the birthday sing along tradition here and the photos taken of the night. Our table was a loud mad so Thankyou for putting up with us xx. My dad had the best time xx

Really good night out. We booked on the OpenTable app and I don' t think they knew we were coming but managed to squeeze us in. We had a great table and it was a very busy night with a 30, 50, 60 and 70 birthday party in full swing. The music was low level and just about right until about 10pm and the DJ announced that it was time to party and the classic tunes went on and the dancing started. All in all a great night with reasonably decent food, especially with it being so busy. Good service and again it was very busy so good to have service even at this busy level.

We normally use a different Chinese takeaway, however as it was closed for the Chinese New Year we decided to try Little Canton again. Never again. The food was tasteless and couldn’t tell the difference between black bean sauce, curry and the chow mien. Even the egg fried rice was appalling. I’m not entirely sure that the ‘chicken’ in the chicken and black bean dish was actually chicken. Chewy is an understatement. The only edible thing was the crispy seaweed. It gets one star only because I couldn’t give it zero. Complete waste of money, and ended up making a cheese and ham sandwich for dinner. Don’t waste your money. Speisekarte ansehen
