Really very welcoming place. The staff is professional and pleasant. Very good food, highly recommended by the chef. Really a nice discovery near the center of Maglie.

I highly recommend this restaurant. The value for money is perfect and a note of merit goes to the freshness of the products. We ate exceptional fried food, as well as a very delicate pasta with clams. I also recommend the rest and I also make a mention to the manager, always attentive and present, but never intrusive. locale scoperto quasi per caso. posizione meravigliosa e piena di storia, personale di camera preparata e molto cortese. lo chef fabrizio delizia il palato con piccoli capolavori di pesce rendendo questa esperienza molto piacevole. non abbiate paura, lasciatevi consigliare. ottimo anche i vini tipici del territorio. ci torneremo sicuramente

Una scoperta positiva della città di Maglie che poco conoscevamo ma.... fermatevi nella Locanda dei Semplici... perché? Perché Fabrizio vi accompagna in una semplicità dei gusti e dei sapori veri salentini dalla frittura alle fave nette e cicorie, al polpo con arancio e ceci ed insalata...al dolce e tutto accompagnato da buon vino...Una serata che rimarrà nei nostri ricordi che conserveranno i sapori....

Very nice and intimate location, I ordered a red tuna tartare which was simply delicious, simple! With just a drop of selected oil. First course with chopped prawn and artichokes, I would have preferred a little more flavor but de gustibus! And finally we were offered some mussels au gratin with the chef 's recipe to try! The only advice is perhaps a little more care in the presentation of the dishes and starters because even the eye wants its part especially in an elite restaurant (no more arugula beds they are a bit vintage) for the rest, recommended !
