"beautiful place on the high street with many sitting and friendly staff. we went to brunch and had a lot of hearty creampes chickens superior, tuna sweets, sink and cheese. the chicken crepe was not too impressive and could do with a taste and spicy uplift. the others were also delicious and went well with the mocha. we spent about 30 pfunds for three of us. They have forgotten to make the crepe that we ordered for takeaway, but no great thing. will return in the future when I taste a crêpe."

I love their crepes at this place! it is all freshly made with a great environment to eat. the staff there is very friendly and would recommend to everyone and everyone.

We visited here for the first time to treat ourselves to a pancake breakfast. The menu is really interesting and offers much more than pancakes. The staff were so helpful and the food was really tasty. I can't wait to go back!

After reading many good reviews, I thought to try this place. eating is expensive! but the fact that it is freshly prepared and tasty, makes them want to go back and forth. the spinach, the mushroom and the cheesecake tasted heavenly! coffee also tasted good. place was nice and clean, although small. it was a Saturday afternoon and they had a continuous flow of diners and most of them seemed like their regular customers. the staff was nice, neither too friendly nor rude. a great experience. "amazing sushi! had sashimi, sushi and eal rice dish. I came in for dine in, but it's clearly a takeaway. Also for dine in you need to add extra 20% VAT, government regulation. next time will do delivery, great food, reasonable price and lovely staff. "I have always been highly satisfied with the fish and chips at this restaurant in the past, but tonight we had to discard all of the batter on the fish. It was soggy and greasy, and the chips were only lukewarm. A big letdown. Delivery service was prompt and efficient, earning a 5 rating. The cost per person for dinner is typically between £10 and £20. Overall, I would rate the food a 2 out of 5. Despite this disappointing experience, I still recommend trying their Fish and Chips."

"I visited my elderly Mum today, she suggested going to the Derby Arms for a roast dinner as she'd eaten there recently with my sister. However they were fully booked, so I looked online and found Galu. The reviews were great and my Mum has only ever heard good things from friends and neighbours. So I called and booked for 12:45 Sunday 21st Jan 2024. We were both pleasantly surprised to see roast dinners on the menu ... Mum order lamb and I ordered beef part of their set menu. When the dinners arrived, you could see straight away that the lamb was Very Fatty (not even crispy) when my my tried eating it, it was both tough and chewy! As for the beef, this was cooked ok and edible, although I asked for the beef to be medium, but it was more well done. The waiter came over to ask if the meal was ok, I highlighted how the lamb was... the manager then came over and offered my Mum a slice of beef to compensate, bearing in mind she ordered lamb. Mum subsequently found that some of her roast potatoes were hard inside! I finished my meal, but could see Mum really didn't enjoy hers leaving a substantial amount on her plate, and having tried her lamb it really was inedible! We were then offered a full list of desserts rather than the set menu, having chocolate brownie and creme brûlée (both were gorgeous) When the bill arrived, I was hoping they would have somehow made amends, but alas no ... as Mum doesn't like to cause a fuss and it was her treat, I decided not to say anything, although the staff manager could tell we weren't happy. Having come from East Sussex for the day and regularly have great Sunday roasts in local pubs, I was hoping for something special in this restaurant, but sadly that wasn't the case. In fact it's probably one of the worst roast dinners I've had in a long time. I very much doubt we'll return ..."

"In my earlier visit, the food was truly excellent, and the manager took the time to chat with me. However, I noticed that no one mentioned the loyalty program. I found the display and the card only after we had already spent £50, which was disappointing. Additionally, while discussing my experience, the manager brought up an inexperienced employee who was just a couple of feet away behind the bar. It's frustrating when points aren't recognized, especially when there should be better communication among staff. Overall, it's a great place to eat, but there are some areas for improvement in customer service."

The space was spacious and airy, with a beautiful outdoor smoking area, a picnic garden, and its own carpark - perfect for any occasion.
