"We used to frequent Maddison's often and the food was always excellent. However, on our visit last Friday, we were disappointed with the cheese toasties and fish finger sandwich we ordered. They were not enjoyable at all, so much so that we left most of it uneaten. The cheesy chips were also missing, which was disappointing. It is unfortunate that the quality has declined, as Maddison's used to be one of the best restaurants in Consett."

Lovely lunch 2day in the busy cafe&lovely waitress eventually got us 2seats. My fish finger sandwich was more of a whale than a fish finger!!loved it.

I visited this restaurant for the first time today and had an amazing dining experience. The staff were very welcoming and the atmosphere was relaxed. It has definitely become my go-to friendly spot. I highly recommend it and can't find any faults.

I absolutely adore this restaurant. The staff is always friendly and welcoming as soon as you walk in the door. The menu is fantastic and the food and drinks are delicious. The coffee here is the best I've ever had. You definitely have to try the omelette!

I went to have breakfast today at this restaurant! The food was well presented, fresh, and there was a generous portion of it! The breakfast was amazing! The decor was beautiful and the staff was friendly. This is now my favorite breakfast spot in Consett and I will definitely recommend it to my friends!
