We chose to eat at this restaurant because it was conveniently located a two minute walk from our hotel (Hotel Adria). The atmosphere was nice and the service was friendly.

We had a wonderful hidden getaway! The staff was extremely helpful and delightful to talk to, and the hotel and surroundings were beautiful during this warm summer weather.

The hotel bed was extremely comfortable, making for a great night's sleep. One of the highlights of the stay was how quiet the hotel was, ensuring a peaceful and restful experience.

The dishes available are quite good, made with high-quality ingredients and featuring a nice balance of flavors. The menu offers a creative twist on traditional English cuisine, and the desserts are equally enjoyable.

We spent last week from Thursday to Sunday at this restaurant and had a fantastic experience. The food, service, and accommodations were all exceptional. After an extended stay at the hotel where the restaurant is situated, I had the chance to sample nearly all of the menu items and I was consistently impressed. The only disappointment was the pizzas, which I suggest avoiding as they do not live up to the quality of the other dishes. Apart from that, the food is excellent and reasonably priced. This restaurant is definitely one of the best places I have dined at during my time in England, and I highly recommend it. If I were to visit England again, I would definitely make a return trip!

The communication with Sudbury House was extremely poor. We chose a junior suite, which was not cheap, based on the website photos. However, we were disappointed upon arrival. The shower head in the roll top bath did not work, there were no fluffy bath robes provided, and the suite was located above the bar, resulting in noise from people drinking until 2am. The service was slow, despite it not being busy, and there was an extra charge for lattes or cappuccinos. After waiting two weeks for a response to our email, we have not received any further communication. We will not be recommending this place to anyone. Overall, our experience was poor.

We chose this restaurant because it was advertised as dog friendly and we were interested in trying their traditional Sunday Roast. However, we were disappointed from the start as we were told the roast could only be served on the terrace of a lovely garden, rather than in the restaurant. Despite our preference for indoor dining, we agreed due to the nice weather. The service was slow, but we were not in a rush. As we began to eat, we were bothered by wasps, which was concerning for one diner who has an allergy to their stings. Our mention of this issue did not result in a solution.
